As a seasoned X-Men gamer with over two decades of mutant mayhem under my belt, this latest development has me more than just a little excited! The Raid on Graymalkin crossover promises to deliver a thrilling tale that’s sure to test the mettle of both Cyclops’ and Rogue’s X-Men.

The school for mutants led by the X-Men has gone by various titles in the past, such as Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, Xavier’s Institute for Higher Learning, and Jean Grey School for Higher Learning. However, it now bears a fresh moniker: Graymalkin Academy. In Marvel’s post-Krakoan era of X-Men comic books, the pupils of Professor Charles Xavier have reunited into two groups under new leadership: Cyclops’ X-Men and Rogue’s Uncanny X-Men.

Meanwhile, Xavier finds himself imprisoned under the alias Inmate X within a correctional facility run by Warden Corina Ellis. She has assigned Sarah Gaunt, a former love interest of Xavier, to provide her prison with young mutants similar to the Outliers.

The storyline will encompass issues 8 and 9 of X-Men, as well as issues 7 and 8 of Uncanny X-Men. The aftermath from this crossover event will be portrayed in X-Men #10, which is set for release in January. Following this, a new story arc will commence in Uncanny X-Men #9, where mutants must face off against the Bloodhounds – a pack of Sentinel-like dogs that are genetically engineered to hunt mutants.
