The sheer number of players flocking to the open beta on all platforms is nothing short of astonishing, and it’s a testament to the enduring appeal of this franchise.

Following its early release exclusively on PS5 for PlayStation Plus members, the open beta for “Monster Hunter Rampage” has now been made accessible across all gaming platforms. Notably, it’s also gaining significant traction on Steam, reaching a peak of 463,798 concurrent players during this writing moment.

Compared to Steam, Monster Hunter World hit a high of 334,684 simultaneous players at its best, but Monster Hunter Rise managed 231,360 concurrent players. The beta concludes on November 3rd at 6:59 PM PT, and it offers hunts against Doshaguma and Chatacabra, along with a quest to confront Rey Dau, the latest Thunder-based Flying Wyvern.
