Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Remake Has Sold 1.94 Million Units

As a seasoned gamer with years of Nintendo adventures under my belt, let me tell you, it’s not every day we see such a delightful surprise as the recent sales figures for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door remake! I remember playing the original game back on the GameCube, and to see it thriving once again on the Switch is nothing short of heartwarming.

Enthusiasts of the Mario Role-Playing Games (RPGs) have been pleasantly surprised with a greater amount of content this past year, and Nintendo is still enjoying the rewards from this. In May, a highly praised remake of “Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door” was launched on the Switch, and sales for this RPG are holding steady.

In its recently published earnings report for the last quarter, Nintendo announced that, as of October 1st, the remake of “Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door” has been sold approximately 1.94 million times worldwide. Compared to the end of the preceding quarter, when it had sold 1.76 million units, this indicates a rise of nearly 200,000 units during the second quarter of the current fiscal year.

Nintendo recently disclosed new sales statistics for games like “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom” and “Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD,” as well as the top ten best-selling first-party titles on the Switch. Additionally, they provided updated sales figures for the Switch console itself, which has reached a global total of 146.04 million units sold.
