As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the resurgence of the Luigi’s Mansion franchise has been nothing short of delightful! Being an avid fan since the GameCube days, it’s heartening to see this beloved series continue to thrive, especially in the form of Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD on the Switch.


The Luigi’s Mansion series consistently outsells predictions, with its latest edition also showing strong sales figures. This assessment is backed by the initial sales data for the game, which was disclosed in the company’s most recent quarterly earnings report.

According to Nintendo, the updated version of Luigi’s Mansion 2, released for the Switch at the end of June, has now sold a total of 1.57 million copies globally by September 30th. This figure represents an additional 400,000 units sold since it was last reported that the remaster had shifted 1.19 million units as of the close of the previous quarter (June 30th).

Apart from “Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD,” Nintendo also released updated sales numbers for “Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door,” “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom,” and the top ten best-selling first-party games on Switch.
