Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition Rated for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 by PEGI

As someone who has spent countless hours immersed in the captivating world of Larian Studios and their masterpiece, Divinity: Original Sin 2, I can hardly contain my excitement at the prospect of revisiting this magical realm on the next-gen consoles!

Even though Baldur’s Gate 3 has been a huge hit, there are more exciting prospects coming from Larian Studios for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 players. As reported by Gematsu, the PEGI has rated Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition for current-gen platforms. Although an official release date hasn’t been announced yet, considering its rating being close to The Game Awards, it might surprise us with a secret launch.

The Definitive Edition is accessible on PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One, boasting numerous enhancements, over 130,000 additional words in the storyline, extra quests, an upgraded Epilogue, rebalanced combat scenarios, and lots more. Additionally, post-launch “gift bag” updates have introduced new content such as potent armor sets called the Four Relics of Rivellon, stronger summoning abilities, a combat randomizer, and much more.

As an excited fan, I can’t help but wonder if the standard versions of Xbox Series X/S and PS5 will include the much-anticipated “Sir Lora” DLC right from the get-go, or perhaps offer any fresh features and content. Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming announcements, and don’t forget to revisit our compelling reasons to dive back into the enhanced “Definitive Edition,” even if you’ve already completed the original adventure!

Today, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series editions of Divinity: Original Sin II – Definitive Edition from Larian Studios received a rating from PEGI.
