How Ariana Grande & Elizabeth Gillies’ Bond Has Remained Strong

As a long-time follower and admirer of Ariana Grande and Liz Gillies, I can confidently say that their friendship is nothing short of extraordinary. Their bond, forged during their Nickelodeon days, has stood the test of time and continues to grow stronger with each passing year.

For more than a decade, Ariana Grande and Elizabeth “Liz” Gillies‘ friendship has remained victorious.

Since their Nickelodeon show “Victorious” ended in 2013, this dynamic duo, who initially crossed paths while costarring in the Broadway production of “13” in 2008, have consistently demonstrated that their friendship endures. The method they employ to strengthen their bond is actually quite straightforward.

In an interview with People, published on November 6th, Liz shared that they genuinely prioritize spending time together. They share laughter, reflect on past moments, and create fresh memories.

In addition to the memories created over the years, there have been some notable events such as appearing in Ariana’s “Thank U, Next” music video back in 2018 and attending theatre performances where we watched Ethan Slater, Grammy winner’s boyfriend, perform in “Spamalot” during 2023.

Liz, 31, said, “I run into Ariana frequently, and we’re always creating fresh memories, exploring new things, and writing more pages in our shared storybook.

Currently, the actress from Dynasty is fulfilling her friend’s long-held dream by getting a chance to portray Glinda the Good Witch in the upcoming movie version of Wicked, a musical she adores.

Liz shared that when we first met around age 13 or 14, ‘Wicked’ was her favorite show, and Glinda was her character. We used to sing the songs together, and she always spoke passionately about her goal of playing this role. I remember how tirelessly she worked during auditions, and how much she yearned for it. Seeing her achieve it is truly a well-deserved success.

Liz and Ariana are not the only former students of “Victorious” who have maintained contact throughout the years. In an interview with People, the singer of “God Is a Woman” revealed that several key cast members continue to engage in an ongoing group chat, though she did not disclose the individuals involved.

Ariana expressed that the feelings are still present, and she looks forward to spending more enjoyable moments together in the future. She said, ‘That period was unique and unparalleled; I think only we truly understand its significance.’ To put it simply, they’ve formed an unbreakable bond over it,” Ariana shared with People.
