Attack on Titan Goes To The Movies With A Last Attack Surprise

As a die-hard fan of the Attack on Titan series, I eagerly await the release of “Attack on Titan: The Last Attack” movie that promises to deliver the epic finale of the anime adaptation. Having grown up with Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and their comrades in the Scout Regiment, I can’t help but feel nostalgic and excited at the prospect of reliving these moments on the big screen.

“Attack on Titan’s Final Stand

“Attack on Titan: The Final Attack” – Similar to “Demon Slayer: Towards Hashira Training” and “Dandadan: First Encounter”, this will be a compilation movie, featuring a massive runtime of approximately 145 minutes. It will encapsulate the concluding episodes from the anime series adaptation. In addition to depicting these significant scenes on screen, the “Attack on Titan” film has announced that it will also include an exclusive new post-credit animated scene following its release in Japan on November 8th. Further details about this new scene are yet to be disclosed, but it definitely adds to the excitement of revisiting the original episodes on the big screen.

Attack on Titan Goes To The Movies

Hajime Isayama, the creator of Attack on Titan, hasn’t explicitly confirmed whether the series will carry on or not. However, previous interviews suggest that he might be finished with this particular universe. Instead, Isayama has shared his wish for retirement, which contrasts sharply with his grueling manga work. Interestingly, Isayama has expressed a desire to manage his own sauna in his post-career life. This aspiration is reflected in his artwork, where some of his most notable characters are often depicted relaxing in a sauna.

As a movie enthusiast, I’m taking a moment to appreciate the poster before me – it doesn’t show the main characters in a sauna but instead captures them enjoying a movie theater experience. In Japan, the film is set to premiere soon, yet there’s no confirmed release date for North America at this point. Fingers crossed that “Attack on Titan: The Last Attack” follows the path of many other anime compilation films and graces Western screens as well.

In just two days, the countdown illustration for the movie release will be out.

Attack on Titan: The Last Attack’s Post-Credits Scene

Could the post-credits scene in “Attack on Titan: The Last Attack” hint at what’s to come? In the final episode of the original series, fans saw Mikasa and survivors from the Survey Corps paying their respects at Eren Jaeger’s grave. Interestingly, the finale also showed a glimpse of the future, focusing on a young, enigmatic figure discovering Eren’s grave, potentially sparking a new cycle. Although creator Isayama hasn’t confirmed plans for a sequel, this scene might offer a glimpse into what lies ahead.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but feel that “Attack on Titan: The Last Attack” is destined for greatness on the big screen. With Eren’s epic unleashing of countless Titans and his colossal form, it seems only fitting to re-experience these momentous events in a theater setting. Even though we may not get more chapters or episodes from “Attack on Titan,” its profound influence on the anime world is undeniable and will endure for years to come.
