EastEnders has revealed the aftermath of killer Reiss Colwell’s ghoulish attack on Bianca Jackson.

This week, the climax of Bianca’s crusade against her sister Sonia’s intended husband unfolded on BBC One’s soap opera. On Wednesday, she presented him with video evidence that implicated him in the murder of Debbie Colwell, his former wife. She directly addressed him about this incriminating proof.

Reiss finally admitted to murdering Debbie in a conversation with Bianca, and she vowed to bring him to justice with the evidence against him, prompting a panicked Reiss to smash the laptop Bianca had been viewing it on – destroying the evidence.

In a heartfelt confession, Reiss shared tales of his past caring for Debbie and the motives behind his act of killing his comatose spouse. However, he held back from confessing fully, apprehensive about the life he’d face behind bars. This, despite knowing that Sonia, who was pregnant at the time, would be serving a prison term for the same crime.

As a movie critic, I found myself torn between the noble plea of Bianca, who implored Reiss to surrender and make amends for his wrongdoings, and the cunning proposal of Reiss himself, who proposed a scheme to save Sonia while somehow avoiding prison time for his own transgressions.

However, Reiss admitted that he kept the suspected murder weapon, Debbie’s pillow, stored away at a facility. He promised to give it to her if she allowed him to leave the country.

Equipped with a candlestick as her means of protection, Bianca consented, for Sonia’s sake, to join Reiss in his scheme.

In the facility, Bianca noticed it was adorned with soundproof materials, and Reiss confessed they didn’t have a pillow. Instead, he charged towards Bianca in a fit of rage, brandishing a metal object and a blanket, shouting loudly.

On Thursdays show, we found ourselves straight away at Sonia’s residence with a panicked Reiss, covered in blood, carrying a bulky box. This scene hinted that Reiss might have killed Bianca and was now trying to hide or get rid of her remains.

Meanwhile, Reiss sported a wound on the back of his head, but was swiftly interrupted by Martin Fowler (James Bye), who inquired about Reiss’s activities and expressed concern over his injury. Suspecting Bianca as the source of the recent turmoil, Martin began to question him. However, Reiss chose to ignore Martin’s concerns.

Later on, DI Callum Highway (Tony Clay), accompanied by Martin, paid a visit to Reiss. During this visit, questions were posed regarding the events involving Bianca, causing Reiss to become frantic as he hurried to conceal a chest in a neighboring room.

Reiss stated that Bianca hit him with a candlestick, and Martin advised him to report the incident, seek medical care, and file charges against Bianca for her aggressive behavior towards him.

In other areas, Martin shared news about Bianca’s suspicious activities in the Square and additionally disclosed that the police discovered Bianca’s food truck (taco van) deserted near a train station, giving the impression that she had left the crime scene.

While Reiss was attempting to put the chest in his vehicle, a mishap took place as Uncle Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), of Bianca, collided with Reiss’s car, carrying the chest in the trunk. Remarkably, Reiss was able to get away from the situation unharmed.

It’s clear that Reiss went back to the storage area, and it turned out Bianca was confined there, still breathing.

A furious Bianca threw objects at him and demanded he release her, promising to say nothing.

Reiss then told Bianca that she was a wanted woman who had fled after attacking him.

Bianca questioned Reiss about how much longer he intended to keep her, and he told her that he’d stay put until Sonia got out, and he didn’t see any alternative scenarios.

Bianca started crying, and Reiss asserted that she had no reason to be afraid since he was keeping her there, providing her with necessities for living within the facility, which he transported in a box or portable container.

When Bianca expressed that she needed the bathroom, Reiss mentioned he’d arranged a portable toilet for her, but she insisted she needed to use it immediately.

Reiss handed Bianca a bucket, but while he wasn’t looking, she picked it up and hurled it at him, all the while insisting that she wanted to be freed.

When does Bianca finally break free from the grasp of dangerous Reiss, and when can we anticipate seeing Patsy Palmer return to our television screens again?
