As a devoted follower of British culture, I must say that this year’s Barbour Christmas advert is nothing short of enchanting! Growing up in the countryside, I’ve always had a soft spot for Shaun the Sheep and his antics, and seeing him team up with Barbour once again has brought a heartwarming smile to my face. The idea of giving the gift of warmth this Christmas is truly touching, especially considering the chilly winters we often encounter in these parts.
2024 saw Barbour potentially outdo all other Christmas ads with an adorable video starring everyone’s favorite woolly friend, Shaun the Sheep.
Once again, the cherished Aardman character teams up with the high-end clothing brand for some holiday merriment, emphasizing the theme of providing warmth as a special Christmas gift.
At Mossy Bottom Farm, Aardman has created a winter wonderland filled with holiday cheer. However, poor Bitzer the dog is having trouble leading his flock in a choir because they’re all shivering from the cold and can’t manage to harmonize properly.
Observing his own hat and scarf, Bitzer decides it’s time to visit Barbour to buy some cold-weather essentials for Shaun and his sheep friends, aiming to keep them cozy during the upcoming winter.
Upon his arrival laden with shopping bags, they swiftly put on their knitwear and skillfully play a charming melody.
For the second time now, Barbour has collaborated with Aardman. Last year’s adorable spot featured The Farmer’s wax jacket receiving some tender care.
In connection with their campaign, Barbour is introducing a line of 30 exclusive Barbour x Shaun the Sheep Re-loved wax jackets. The profits from these items will be donated to Oxfam.
