But, like many games of its kind, it leaves some aspects shrouded in mystery, such as the elusive secateurs for early foraging levels.

If you’re having trouble locating a pair of secateurs for your initial foraging levels, keep reading to discover how to find them!

Where to Find Secateurs

As a gamer, if all you’re after is picking up some secateurs, here’s where to head: Take a look at the map image below – I’ve marked the spot for you. If you’re starting from Hopeport’s Portal Stone, just follow the directions I’ve provided, and you’ll be there in no time!

Essentially, you should make your way to the Forager’s Warehouse, which is located near the Town Gates. You can identify this structure by a sign bearing an image of a trowel.

Within this location, you’ll encounter an NPC named Ella who offers a variety of supplies and tools associated with the skill tree called “foraging.” Among the items under the “Forager’s Equipment” section, you’ll notice the Secateurs clearly displayed.

This will set you back a significant amount of 13 silver and 200 copper.

Foraging Level Not High Enough?

If you find yourself in this shop and unsure about how to increase your foraging level to purchase this tool, you’ll need to collect some kelp.

“Kelp” is the only item you can collect early on that needs merely patience, and you can find these at the well-known location – “East Beach“. You’ve likely become acquainted with this spot already since you had to gather brown kelp during the initial scene.

From here, collect a few kelp nodes scattered about until you advance to level 2 foraging. Once you reach that level, you’ll be able to buy the Secateurs, and as an extra perk, you’ll also have some additional materials for your alchemy projects!
