She also mentioned that she intended to pay tribute to Shiz and Glinda (characters in the story) by incorporating a pink element, symbolizing Shiz.
Additionally, Grande mentioned that she planned to incorporate a gingham design as a tribute to the character Dorothy, while her crystal footwear served as a nod to Shiz.
Meanwhile, Erivo, who portrays Elphaba, was glowing in a green Louis Vuitton look.
Erivo explained, “I thought this would be an excellent opportunity to showcase some greenery.
Furthermore, the singer’s recent fashion display at the premier of the “Jon M. Chu” movie has been even more radiant than the gold bricks found in the land of Oz. The 31-year-old star paid tribute to her character by channeling a Glinda-inspired outfit from “The Wizard of Oz”.
At the State Theatre premiere, Grande donned a pink tulle Vivienne Westwood dress reminiscent of Billie Burke’s iconic silhouette from the 1939 film.

In an interview with the New York Times on November 5, Grande reminisced about her team members saying, “You shouldn’t need to audition,” to which she responded, “I realize you might not grasp this, but I do indeed have to. This opportunity needs to be earned.” She had a lot to prove and gave it her all in every possible way.
