The 53-year-old also noted that there was one thing she did pass on to Cynthia amid entering into the wonderful world of Wicked.

In the early 2000s, Idina Menzel played Elphaba opposite Kristin Chenoweth’s Glinda (or Ariana Grande in the film adaptation) for a 16-month stint on Broadway. However, as Idina confessed during that period, their focus was solely on the two witches on stage and the women portraying them.
