As a compassionate observer, I find myself deeply moved by Francesca’s journey. Her life, filled with love, dreams, and the courage to share her experiences, is truly inspiring. From her vibrant relationships to her aspirations of starting a family, her story resonates with many.
Francesca Farago and Jesse Sullivan’s road to their newborn twin babies was not smooth sailing.
The pair shared their journey, including the lead-up and aftermath, extensively on Snapchat when Francesca had an emergency C-section to deliver their twins – a boy and a girl – who arrived on November 11th.
Before undergoing the surgical operation, the star of Too Hot to Handle expressed on Snapchat, “Of course I’m afraid, given all the things that could potentially go wrong so swiftly.
Over the weekend, a Netflix celebrity was taken to the hospital because their newborn son was experiencing growth issues and the mother noticed decreased fetal movement, along with an unusual itchiness in Francesca’s hands. Doctors suspected that this itchiness might indicate cholestasis—a condition that disrupts bile flow to the liver—but they didn’t have enough time to run a full blood test for confirmation.
On November 9th, I was released from the hospital. However, the itchiness came back the very next day, November 10th. The doctors then advised me to go back to the hospital.
According to Francesca’s account, they reached there by 4:45 a.m. the following morning and mentioned that they had to undergo an emergency C-section by 6 a.m.
Francesca mentioned that her son was practically devoid of fluids, and she later said, “Thirty minutes from then, my OB is here, they’re hurrying me in. They tell me, ‘We’re delivering these babies immediately.’
However, the social media-savvy couple did take a moment during the prep to get in some content.
Francesca explained she had no moment to ponder, instead blurting out, ‘Can I quickly make two TikTok videos?’
However, things didn’t get simpler; Francesca further mentioned an issue with her placenta, specifically a condition called “placental calcification.
She shared that during childbirth, her baby boy’s placenta adhered to the inner wall of her uterus. Since it had begun to harden, or calcify, she was unable to preserve the placentas as she intended to send them for analysis.
After the babies, whose names the couple hadn’t chosen yet, were born, Francesca started encountering further health issues herself.
She explained that due to the twin pregnancy, she was experiencing heavy bleeding and clotting. She described a situation where the doctor had to physically reach into her uterus with her arm to remove the clots. Remarkably, this procedure needed to be repeated even after she regained consciousness and could feel everything.
As a fervent admirer, I can’t help but exclaim that the agony I endured was truly unparalleled – a torment so intense it made me wish for solace in potent painkillers, lest my cries echo through the halls of the hospital.
She expressed her dislike for these medications she must consume, stating, “However, if I don’t consume them, it feels as though someone is prying into and manipulating my bodily sensations.
Due to her personal experience, Francesca aims to provide fresh insight into the suffering that mothers undergoing Caesarean sections often encounter.
She expressed that she hadn’t anticipated the intensity of the pain and complications, including bleeding and blood clots, during her C-section surgery. She was taken aback because social media doesn’t typically provide detailed information about such aspects. Instead, it often portrays C-sections as an easier option. She had assumed that a C-section would be less challenging.
On the 12th of November, Francesca expressed on Snapchat, “I believe I’d be at least 85% improved if I didn’t need painkillers and my whole body wasn’t intensely itchy!” or “On the 12th of November, Francesca shared on Snapchat, ‘If I didn’t have to take any pain meds and my entire body wasn’t so itchy, I would likely feel at least 85% better!’
She also shared a photo of her bare postpartum belly, writing, “Omggg.”
To look back at Francesca and Jesse’s romance, read on.
Despite attempting to find love through various reality dating shows like “Too Hot to Handle”, Francesca Farago encountered her ideal partner, Jesse Sullivan, during an online event where she was the host.
In 2023, I had the honor to be brought on board by TikTok for hosting an event during Pride Month. This wasn’t your typical gathering; it took place via Zoom and was a live event hosted by TikTok featuring Willow Smith and their LGBTQ+ Trailblazers. During the session, I conducted interviews with three remarkable individuals, one of whom was Jesse. Our connection blossomed almost instantly over Zoom.
Despite the fact that her stint on Netflix’s show “Perfect Match” (aired in 2023) didn’t turn out as planned, Francesca believed that destiny held greater aspirations for her.
Indeed, the reality star disclosed on TikTok that “Immediately after departing the villa, I sent a message to Jesse, asking, ‘Are you still unattached? I’m feeling shaken up, fancy grabbing some time together?’
From then on, their love story has been an open book on social media. In a conversation with Elite Daily, she admitted, “Our affection is evident in our posts, and it’s not just the good moments that we share. We genuinely don’t have any negative times, only positivity.
Two years having passed since their initial encounter, Francesca and Jesse found themselves eager to embark on a fresh journey as a pair.
Francesca announced on her Instagram in May 2023, ‘We’re engaged! Here’s a peek at the most enchanting night of our lives, can’t get enough of our loved ones… what is this wonderful journey called life?!’ A few months later, in early 2024, they revealed their eagerness to start a family, long before their wedding.
In her exclusive interview with Laverne Cox on Live From TopMob during the People’s Choice Awards in February, Francesca expressed her desire for a big wedding, but also shared a sweet idea: having a newborn or even twins present at the wedding. She hinted that they might prefer to have a baby first and then hold the wedding afterwards.
As anticipated, Francesca and the father of teenager Arlo from a past relationship, Jesse, declared that they would be growing their family.
Francesca shared on Instagram on March 31st that she wanted to use this significant occasion to rejoice with everyone. Since you’ve been there for us during the hard times, we were eager to share our success with you too. I’m still quite early in my pregnancy, but there are many exciting developments ahead. We can hardly wait to expand our family, with Arlo being such a great big brother already!
Regarding Jesse, they were overjoyed to announce the news. “We’re expecting!” the influencer, who identified as transgender in 2019, wrote alongside a video clip. “It’s been a tough road getting here, but we thought Trans Day of Visibility was the ideal moment to invite everyone to share in our joy. I’m incredibly proud of @Francesca Farago for persevering and making it this far, and my admiration for her grows daily. Thank you for following our journey, and here’s to more trans happiness!
A week following the confirmation that Francesca is expecting, Jesse announced that their family will be expanding from two to four members.
Jesse posted on TikTok on April 7, “We’re expecting twins! We’re getting ready for the wonderful outcome ahead.
