As a dedicated fan of gripping dramas, I must admit that the ensemble cast of “Bad Sisters” is nothing short of extraordinary. Each character, from the enigmatic Grace to the fiery Bibi, seems to leap off the screen and into our hearts with their complex personalities and compelling backstories.
The second season of Apple TV+’s darkly comedic series, “Bad Sisters,” is back, and the actors have hinted at a lot of intrigue unfolding in the upcoming episodes.
Eva Birthistle stated, “The plot is intricately woven and full of depth,” she added. “Also, the fresh characters truly add an exciting twist to it all.
The events take an unexpected and startling turn, one that might not be entirely anticipated by the viewers, yet I believe they’ll find it quite engaging.
Anne-Marie Duff also promised some “some lovely twists and turns”.
Additionally, since this narrative belongs to Sharon [Horgan], she has the freedom to infuse as much playfulness as desired, according to the actor’s comments.
She isn’t sticking to an old tale, which gives her a fresh start as an author. It’s simply ingenious.

Sharon Horgan plays Eva
Who is Eva? She’s the eldest sister among the Garveys, who assumed the role of matriarch at a young age following her parents’ sudden demise. Prior to that, she was in a long-term relationship, but it ended when she found out she couldn’t have children. It should be noted that Eva was raped by John Paul years ago.
Apart from Catastrophe, where she gained significant recognition, Sharon Horgan has also acted in shows like This Way Up, Pulling, Best Interests, and Military Wives.
Anne-Marie Duff plays Grace
Who is Grace referred to as? One of the elder Garvey sisters. After suffering years of domestic violence at the hands of her spouse John Paul, she took his life in the first season. Currently, she’s found herself falling in love with another person, approximately two years later.

In essence, their bond develops into an unusual form of interdependence. Later on, Grace discovers love, no longer requiring the other’s presence. This leads to deep resentment from her, as if we owe her something. She approaches us with a sense of entitlement.
