How to get Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 tickets

As a die-hard rugby fan with a special place in my heart for the Red Roses, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the upcoming Women’s Rugby World Cup! Having witnessed their heartbreaking loss in the 2021 final, I can’t wait to see them fight for glory once again.

2025 marks a historic moment as the 10th Women’s Rugby World Cup will be hosted at home, with England strongly tipped to win the coveted trophy.

Since their loss in the World Cup Final back in 2021, the Red Roses have remained unbeaten. This time, however, they could aim for either a repeat of their success or seek revenge for their previous defeat.

Marlie Packer’s team is preparing for a battle against 15 different countries in the upcoming tournament next year, which has an additional four participants compared to the previous one. Among them are the current champions, the New Zealand Black Ferns.

Next year, the contest is scheduled to unfold from August to September, encompassing a total of 32 games spread out over various locations. The grand finale will be held at the legendary Twickenham Stadium, or alternatively at the Allianz Stadium if preferred.

During a conversation with the Yorkshire Post, former England soccer player Maggie Alphonsi expressed that the upcoming tournament might serve as a “moment like the Lionesses” for the Red Roses.

It would be great if we could aim to achieve what the Lionesses managed in 2022 – capturing the public’s attention and playing a final at a renowned, historic stadium, filling it up just as they did with a sold-out Wembley.

It’s great news! We’ve had an incredible start, with a staggering 130,000 tickets sold during pre-sale, and more than half of the event already booked. If you don’t want to miss out on your chance, make sure to act quickly, as the ballot for general sale is now open.

Below, we’ve put together a full guide on the World Cup, including dates, venues, fixtures and, most importantly, how to get tickets. You’ll want to prop-ose to us by the time you read all of this, so here’s everything you need to know.

The Red Roses have won the Rugby World Cup twice, first in 1994 and then in France in 2014.

In the 2021 Rugby World Cup final, England’s team narrowly missed winning against New Zealand’s Black Ferns. The Red Roses ended up losing by a close margin of 31-34 following an intense 80-minute game. Unfortunately for England, they played with one player less after Lydia Thompson got a red card in the first 20 minutes of play.

130,000 pre-sale tickets for the Women’s Rugby World Cup have been snapped up in an unparalleled fashion, prompting ticket vendors to resort to a lottery system for the public sale.

Enthusiastic spectators should submit their ticket applications by 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19th. During this process, you’ll be asked to choose the matches you wish to watch and provide your card information. Importantly, you will only be billed if your application is successful.

As a cinephile eagerly scouring through the lineup for upcoming movies, I’ll make sure to keep an eye on the demand indicators provided. If, come the closing date of ticket sales, the interest doesn’t surpass the allocated number of seats, rest assured, your payment will be securely processed on Monday, 2nd December.

If there are more applications than tickets for the England matches, your application will be placed in a lottery. You’ll learn whether your application has been accepted and be billed on Monday, 2nd December.

As an excited supporter, I’m thrilled to share that for most matches, you can apply for up to 20 tickets! However, there are exceptions: the opening match (England vs USA) and the final have a limit of only 10 tickets per match. Also, remember each account can submit just one application, so gather all your ticket requests in a single application to avoid any confusion.
