Back in the year 2001, there was a movie adaption of Bridget Jones’s Diary that has since led to two more sequels and, more recently, a third one titled Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, as evidenced by the release of its official trailer.

In “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy,” I find myself single once more, having lost Mark four years prior on a humanitarian endeavor in Sudan. Managing her professional, personal, and romantic obligations, Bridget confronts the scrutiny of the seemingly perfect mothers at school, frets over Billy’s struggles in the wake of his father’s absence, and experiences a series of awkward encounters with Billy’s analytical science teacher (Chiwetel Ejiofor, nominated for an Oscar).
