Dragon Ball and McDonalds Are Teaming Up for Brand-New Menu Collab

As a seasoned gamer and anime enthusiast with over two decades under my belt, I must say that the latest collaboration between McDonald’s and Dragon Ball Daima has me grinning from ear to ear! The fusion of fast food and anime is nothing new, but the timing and execution of this partnership are spot on.

In recent times, McDonald’s has been deeply engaged with the anime realm, as seen by collaborations such as partnering with the sorcerers of “Jujutsu Kaisen” and the Straw Hat Pirates from “One Piece”. This year, McDonald’s dived deep into anime culture by developing its own universe called “WcDonald’s”, a marketing campaign that introduced anime-themed items and even produced original anime shorts in collaboration with Studio Pierrot. Now, McDonald’s is joining forces with the Z-Fighters for their upcoming escapades in “Dragon Ball Daima”. Here are the details about this partnership that revolves around the diminutive shonen heroes.

Wow, couldn’t believe my luck when I stumbled upon the epic crossover between McDonald’s and Dragon Ball Daima! Timing couldn’t be more perfect since just last week, Son Goku, Glorio, and Kaioshin dropped by a tavern in the Demon Realm to undo the wish of the new demon lord Gomah. Hunger pangs hitting hard, even the diminutive Saiyan Goku couldn’t resist chowing down on some burger-like delicacies from the Demon Realm – what was inside them remains a mystery! Despite not knowing the contents, that didn’t stop our hero from gobbling up the food, even munching on burgers right in the middle of battling demonic foes. Though we can’t taste those demon burgers ourselves, this McDonald’s partnership is still dishing out some cool new merchandise for anime enthusiasts like me!

If you’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of this crossover in North America, I regret to inform you that it’s exclusive to Hong Kong for now. However, there’s always a chance it could make its way westward someday. As part of their new anime promotion, McDonald’s is treating Dragon Ball fans with a White Grape Yogurt Flavored Soda, Sweet Potato Balls, a Chicken Katsu Burger, and other items – not typically found in North American menus.

Daima’s Hungry Future

Fans of Anime are now five episodes into “Dragon Ball Daima” and the sequel to “Dragon Ball Z” has already unveiled several surprising revelations that were not anticipated. As this series is one of the last works from creator Akira Toriyama before his untimely death earlier this year, it’s evident that he had some planned alterations regarding the lore for this new anime series. Toriyama has chosen to verify that Namekians were initially demons and also introduced some novel “Medi Bugs” which could potentially bring about permanent changes in unforeseen ways.

In the most recent episode of the anime, a new member named Panzy, who was previously known as ‘The Masked Majin’, joined the group of heroes. Although Panzy’s power level doesn’t put her on par with a Super Saiyan, her ties to the Demon Realm make her an essential ally for Goku and his companions. Meanwhile, Son anticipates the arrival of characters like Piccolo, Vegeta, and Bulma in the Demon Realm as they prepare to unveil some mind-blowing secrets. The Dragon Ball Daima series continues to leave fans speechless with its earth-rattling revelations.

As the first season of “Dragon Ball Daimao” unfolds, many devoted anime enthusiasts are left pondering if “Dragon Ball Super” might reappear. Though “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” brought characters like Gohan Beast and Orange Piccolo into the shonen’s history, there are still two significant story arcs that have yet to be aired on television. The Moro Arc and the Granolah The Survivor Arc hold potential for countless tales in the future, so let’s hope Toei Animation is planning something related to “Super’s” resurgence.
