Dying Light 2 Stay Human Now Supports PS5 Pro

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that Techland’s Dying Light 2 Stay Human for PlayStation 5 Pro has truly taken gaming to new heights. The variety of graphic settings catering to different preferences is simply astounding.

Techland’s game “Dying Light 2: Stay Human” now supports the PlayStation 5 Pro, allowing players to take advantage of the console’s abilities in several ways. One option is called ‘Balanced’, which maintains a base resolution of 1512p but boosts it to 4K. It also runs at a steady 60 frames per second and enhances the quality of sub-surface scattering, screen-space reflections, and Global Illumination (GI).

For individuals wanting higher frame rates, consider Performance mode. It delivers up to 120 frames per second with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). It also renders at 1440p resolution before upscaling it to 4K. This boosts the quality of Shader Sampling Rate (SSR), Global Illumination (GI), contact shadows, spot shadows, fog effects, and sub-surface scattering effects. If prioritizing image detail over speed, there are Resolution and Quality modes available instead.

As a gamer, I can tell you that the first one delivers native 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, enhancing contact shadows, global illumination, screen-space reflections, and sub-surface scattering quality. On the other hand, the second option provides upscaled 4K from 1440p at the same 30 FPS, offering many of the same improvements but swapping out better screen-space reflections for ray tracing instead.

On November 19th, the “Reloaded Edition” of Dying Light 2: Stay Human will become accessible to both PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members. For a glimpse of the original game, feel free to read our review.
