Tulsa King star says studio space is being “held” for season 3

As a movie enthusiast with a penchant for crime dramas and a soft spot for complex characters, I find myself eagerly anticipating the potential return of Tulsa King for its third season. Having closely followed the show’s development since its inception, I can say that the narrative has been consistently engaging, and the performances by the talented cast have been nothing short of captivating.

As a passionate movie enthusiast, I’m eagerly waiting to hear from Paramount about the future of Tulsa King. Interestingly, one of the show’s stars has hinted that the creative team is securing the production studio space in Atlanta, which could suggest that they’re planning for another season!

“It’s still held,” said Tatiana Zappardino, who plays Dwight’s daughter Tina Manfredi.

As a passionate film enthusiast, I’m eagerly anticipating that all the meticulously crafted sets signal a leap into Season 3. However, we must exercise patience as we await the audience’s response in terms of ratings. The buzz around the show is overwhelmingly positive, and I have no doubt that the numbers will validate our collective enthusiasm, paving the way for an exciting new season!

But Zappardino did say that she “cannot confirm” the renewal.

“I don’t have actual emails saying, ‘Congratulations.’”

The actor added that she wasn’t informed about the renewal for season 2 until just a month prior to shooting.

“They don’t like to give out information,” she added.

During the second series, Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi found himself intensely working to broaden his business ventures in Tulsa. However, this attracted predators from both Oklahoma and New York, straining his personal connections.

Regarding the evolution of Tina’s relationship with her father, Zappardino commented: “After Tina chose to relocate to Oklahoma and opted to leave behind their past, focusing instead on reconnecting with him, the transition proved to be quite significant.

She’s yet to discover her niche and understand where she belongs in Dwight’s unique realm, as his lifestyle deviates significantly from the typical suburban norm, often appearing chaotic or unconventional.

However, as she grew more at ease, events began to unfold. In the end, she recognized that she had been deceiving herself from the start, which provides an excellent foundation for a potential season 3.

Since she’s come to terms with the reality that they won’t lead a typical life, we’ll observe how she adapts to the more complex aspects and shadows of existence.

In the United States and Canada, you can watch the conclusion of Tulsa King season 2 on Sunday, 17th November. For viewers in the UK and other regions, it will air a day later, on Monday, 18th November.

Jackie Ming, the Triad’s leader, is no longer involved, but Bill Bevilaqua and Chickie remain complications. Chickie has been instructed by Vince to go to Tulsa and assert control over Dwight’s business, which suggests a highly volatile ending is on the horizon.
