View Urgent ForecastAs a diehard fan, I can’t contain my excitement when I recall that Guerrilla Games announced in 2022 they were developing a cooperative game within the Horizon universe! While information about it has been slim since then, it appears the studio might be preparing for release sooner than some of us anticipated.
According to a tweet by @Jorraptor, a job posting from Guerrilla Games suggests that their upcoming cooperative title, possibly named Horizon Online, might be released next year. The position being advertised is for a Release Quality Assurance (QA) Intern, whose role would involve ensuring the game is ready for launch. However, the game isn’t explicitly mentioned in the job listing.
Notably, the job posting specifies that the candidate should be ready for assigned tasks “during the first half of 2025”. This could suggest that Guerrilla Games might be gearing up for final preparations during this timeframe, leading up to a projected launch in the latter part of the year.
It’s worth noting that this is merely conjecture, but there have been rumors suggesting that “Horizon Online” could be Guerrilla Games’ next venture, with “Horizon 3” reportedly in its infancy stages, which means it’s likely a few years off.
Information about Horizon Online is scant, but back in 2022, Guerrilla Games shared that the game will introduce a “novel group of characters” and boast a “distinctive, stylish aesthetic.” For further details, check it out here.
