The phrase “Loading uncharacteristically long” continues to appear on the screen, with the progress bars stubbornly stuck near the 97% point, a problem I’ve encountered myself while installing this game.
Option: There aren’t any clear error messages or suggestions to get around this obstacle, and frustration is growing as people share the same disillusionment I feel about the poor preparation provided by the game before it was installed, which only managed to preload 330.09MB of the expected 50GB file size. When will the game be fixed?
About an hour has gone by since Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 was released on both Xbox and PC. However, neither Asobo Studio nor Xbox Game Studios have spoken up about the issues that seem to be arising at launch. The situation is evolving, and I’ll keep you posted with any updates. At the moment, I appear to be in a similar predicament (or perhaps flight?), as my screen shows an apparently endless loading bar stuck between 95% and 97%.
