Call of Duty: Warzone Gets New Update to Fix XP

Call of Duty: Warzone Gets New Update to Fix XP

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours invested in the Call of Duty universe, I must say, the latest update for Warzone has left me both intrigued and slightly perturbed. On one hand, it’s refreshing to see Activision addressing the XP issue, which has been a bone of contention among the community. However, the nerf in shotgun ranges and the removal of certain camos from older games on Black Ops 6 weapons feels like a step back.

Activision has rolled out an update for Call of Duty: Warzone focusing on adjusting how Experience Points (XP) are awarded. In the past few weeks, Call of Duty enthusiasts have been expressing various concerns regarding the XP system in Warzone, with some claiming it progresses too slowly, while others have discovered ways to accumulate XP faster using specific strategies. However, this latest adjustment by Activision could potentially stir up Battle Royale players.

Currently available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, the latest update for Call of Duty: Warzone is relatively compact. This update does more than just prevent players from earning excessive XP; it also reduces the effectiveness of shotguns at a greater distance. In addition, weapon camos originally linked to MW2 and MW3 can no longer be applied to weapons from Black Ops 6.

Here are the details about all the modifications made with the latest update for Warzone; you can find them in the patch notes provided below.
