As a seasoned observer of the royal family, I must admit that it seems like there’s always something happening with our beloved royals! It’s fascinating to see how their lives unfold, and it’s clear that they face challenges just like any other family.
Prince Harry has an inkling on where he’d like his first tattoo to be.
As a devoted admirer, I’d put it this way: Referring playfully to the extensively-inked Jelly Roll, I quipped that if I were to begin a tattoo collection someday, my first design would likely be hidden somewhere on my backside, ensuring it remains inconspicuous and out of sight.
Regrettably, as a devoted admirer of Harry (the “Spare” author), I found myself on the receiving end of a playful prank during a comedic skit for the Invictus Games promotion. To my dismay, instead of choosing an arm or leg, the country music star decided to ink me with a faux tattoo right on my neck.
In a November 19th video, Jelly Roll (formerly known as Jason DeFord) expressed disbelief when they informed him that Prince Harry wished to get a tattoo today. He jokingly commented, “They asked me to be the one to give him his first tattoo? This is just the coolest experience imaginable!
He continued, “We’re giving you a tattoo about the Invictus Games.”
Instead, it was revealed that Harry was meeting the “Need a Favor” singer for the purpose of requesting him to perform at the Invictus Games, rather than arranging to get a tattoo commemorating the sports event he co-founded in 2014.
In a playful exchange, Jelly Roll proposed, “I’ll compete in the Invictus Games if you let me give you your first tattoo.” To which Harry humorously replied, “Okay then, let’s do this!
Harry added, “I was thinking the lower back or on my ass.”
However, Jelly Roll wasn’t content with the suggested spot, as he humorously commented, “Harry, nobody is interested in your backside!
Eagerly watching every stroke of his pen on Harry’s neck, I couldn’t help but think to myself, ‘If only I could’ve suggested a tattoo on his royal highness’s derriere instead!’
Eventually, Harry received a temporary version of the Invictus Games’ “I Am” emblem as an extra treat.
Harry inquired, “Is ‘Jelly Roll’ your moniker? Is that your large, bold writing I see on my neck?” To which Jelly Roll replied, laughing, “I made a statement with the size of the font since the Invictus Games are quite significant.
Harry added, “Oh, s–t!”
