I. New Areas
New Areas Now Available
◇ New Locales: Starting from Version 5.2, the locales of Natlan that will be accessible include the Tezcatepetonco Range, Quahuacan Cliff, and Ochkanatlan.
Once you finish the Archon Quest Prologue: Act III titled “Song of the Dragon and Freedom,” a special Teleport location will become accessible near Tezcatepetonco Range in Natlan’s Stadium of the Sacred Flame, located in the northwest. If you’ve already completed this Archon Quest, the teleportation point will be activated following an update. Additionally, when the waypoint unlocks automatically, you’ll receive a Primogem reward associated with this location.
🌺🦅 Natlan Reputation System Enhancement: As we expand to fresh territories, we’ve expanded our reputation system to incorporate Tribe Reputations for the Blossom-Plume Confederacy and the Whispering Wind Elders.
◆ Unlock Criteria:
Finish ‘Journey of Restoring the Holy Flame’ in Chapter V: Act I named ‘Sun-Baked Journey adorned with Radiant Blossoms'” or simply “Finish the ‘Restoration Pilgrimage of the Sacred Flame’ in ‘Sun-Scorched Sojourn with Resplendent Flowers’ (Chapter V: Act I)”.
Adds the Natlan Fishing Association, where Travelers can exchange for new items here.
In addition, there will be new Fishing Points and “Radiant Spincrystals” in Natlan.
II. New Characters
5-Star Character “Skyborne Arbiter” Chasca (Anemo)
◇ Vision: Anemo
◇ Weapon: Bow
◇ The Peacemaker of the Tlalocan, the ender of all disputes.
◆ Elemental Skill: Spirit Reins, Shadow Hunt
Once Chasca uses her ability “Spirit Reins, Shadow Hunt,” she inflicts Anemo damage on enemies aligned with Night Soul in an area around her and enters the state of Night Soul’s Blessing. She then climbs aboard “Soulsniper: Ritual Staff” and floats aloft, becoming faster and less susceptible to interruptions. To attack enemies while mounted, simply press the Normal Attack key. For continuous attacks, hold down the Normal Attack key to perform “Multitarget Fire,” loading up to 6 Shadowhunt Shells depending on the skill’s charge duration, which deals damage to chosen opponents. Some of these shells may undergo Elemental Conversion based on the elemental types of other party members, causing Night Soul-aligned damage corresponding to those elements.
◆ Elemental Burst: Soul Reaper’s Fatal Round
As a gamer, I unleash Chasca’s Elemental Burst, sending out a “Whirling Soulseeker Cannonball” that smacks enemies with Night-aligned Anemo damage. Post-blast, this cannonball splits into six mini “Soulseeker Cannons,” each targeting nearby foes for additional Night-aligned attacks. These mini cannons adapt their elemental properties to match the characters in my party, dishing out Night-aligned damage based on their elemental affinities.
4-Star Character “Shadow of the Night-Wind” Ororon (Electro)
◇ Vision: Electro
◇ Weapon: Bow
A young individual, belonging to the Masters of the Night-Wind, chooses to reside harmoniously with a variety of life forms, living wildly.
◆ Elemental Skill: Night’s Sling
◇ Throws a “Spirit Orb” that can bounce between enemies, dealing Nightsoul-aligned Electro DMG.
◆ Elemental Burst: Dark Voices Echo
◇ Calls forth an “Ultrasonic Eye” that persistently provokes surrounding foes, dishing out damage aligned with Night Soul’s Electrical energy.
◆ Passive Talent: Nightshade Synesthesia
◇ Following the activation of a comrade’s Nightsoul Burst in close proximity, Ororon accumulates a predefined number of Nightsoul points. Within 15 seconds after utilizing his Elemental Skill, when fellow party members’ Hydro or Electro abilities strike enemies, Ororon will similarly collect additional Nightsoul points.
As a devoted fan, I’d rephrase that for an engaging first-person perspective: Whenever enemies around me receive Electro-Charged reaction damage or Nightsoul-aligned damage inflicted by my fellow teammates, my character Ororon instinctively taps into his Nightsoul energy. This triggers the Nightsoul’s Blessing state, where he depletes a specific amount of Nightsoul points to retaliate against a predetermined number of opponents with Electro-aligned damage from his Nightsoul source.
III. New Equipment
New Weapon (Examples based on Refinement Rank 1)
Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage (5-Star Bow)
12 seconds after initiating a Swirl reaction, the Attack power boosts by 24%. Furthermore, if half or more characters in your party have a distinct Elemental Type compared to the character using the equipment, the damage of their Charged Attacks is amplified by 20% or 48%, and their Elemental Burst damage is increased by 10% or 24%.
At the “Epitome Invocation” gathering, you’ll notice an enormous increase in the drop rate for the unique, 5-star bow, Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage!
Waveriding Whirl (4-Star Catalyst)
15% reduction in swimming endurance usage. Following the use of an Elemental Skill, your maximum health temporarily rises by 20% for a duration of 10 seconds. If there’s a Hydro Elemental Type character in your party, their presence boosts your maximum health by another 12%. The maximum additional health increase from multiple Hydro characters is 24%. This ability can be activated once every 15 seconds.
At the “Epitome Invocation” occasion, I’m thrilled to share that the unique 4-star Catalyst weapon, the Waveriding Whirl, is going to see a massive increase in its drop rate! Let’s hope for the best and keep those fingers crossed!
Flower-Wreathed Feathers (4-Star Bow)
Reduces Gliding Endurance usage by 15%. While in Aimed Shots, the damage of Charged Attacks grows by 6% every half second. This bonus can accumulate up to 6 times and will disappear 10 seconds after exiting Aiming Mode.
At the “Epitome Invocation” gathering, there’s an incredible increase in the likelihood of obtaining the four-star bow weapon, Flower-Wreathed Feathers!
Calamity of Eshu (4-Star Sword)
When a character has a Shield activated, the damage inflicted by both normal and charged attacks increases by 20%, and the critical rate for these same attacks also rises by 8%.
In the “Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls” event, you can exchange or redeem the Calamity of Eshu (Sword) and its refinement materials.

V. New Enemies
Tenebrous Papilla
◇ A colossal, ominous being arising from the depths of darkness, gradually obliterating the recollections of our world. Capable of contorting its shape and metamorphosing into a formidable adversary.
In battle, the Tenebrous Papilla may inflict cumulative damage known as “Attrition” on your character, resulting in HP loss over time. The Tenebrous Papilla can activate a Void Ward using its ability “Beseech the Dark.” To disrupt this ward, employ a series of elemental attacks. Elements aligned with Nightsoul will be particularly effective at shattering the ward, causing it to become disoriented.
Located at Quahuacan Cliff
Wayob Manifestation
Burning-Aflame: Wayob Manifestation and Biting-Cold Wayob Manifestation
◇ The totem figures carved from obsidian, which are revered by different tribes across Natlan, take on the spiritual forms of Wayob.
In combat, the Wayob Manifestation sets up its Trial Ground, which amplifies the tension and triggers an intense energy surge across all characters within it. This energy fortifies the Manifestation itself while also boosting the damage dealt by the Arena’s inhabitants significantly. If the shield surrounding the arena is destroyed prior to its expiration, the characters will be rewarded with a substantial energy recharge. Conversely, if they are unable to break the shield, the Manifestation constructs a barrier proportional to the remaining energy shield value as a defensive measure.
Natlan Saurians
“Qucusaurus,” “Iktomisaurus,” “Qucusaurus Chick,” and “Iktomisaurus Chick”
◇ The Saurians that inhabit the land of Natlan.
Dragons capable of adapting swiftly to their surroundings, assuming various shapes and forms according to their environment.
Sauroform Tribal Warriors
“Winged Warrior: Skysoarer” could be rephrased as “Airborne Avenger: Soaring Skykeeper
◇ The warriors of Natlan’s great tribes who fight for the honor and glory of their people.
Through many years spent living and battling side by side with their reptilian comrades, these tribal fighters have progressively adopted their characteristics and found ways to utilize them effectively in combat situations.

◆ Floor 11 Ley Line Disorder changed to:
• Characters’ Charged Attack DMG increased by 75%.
◆ Updated the monster lineup on Floors 11 – 12 of the Spiral Abyss.
◆ Blessing of the Abyssal Moon:
Shield-Piercing Moon
As an avid fan, I’d put it this way: Every party member’s protective barrier gets boosted by 20%. With my character guarded by this shield, each strike against enemies not only lands but also sends out a vibrational shockwave right at their location, dealing true damage. This powerful move can be activated once every five seconds.
〓Adjustments & Optimizations〓
● Enemies
Alters the dimensions of the Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant’s collision area to ensure it doesn’t obstruct during Plunging Attacks.
For a brief period following departure, characters will not be able to return to the realm of exile where “Ichcahuipilli’s Aegis” resides. This modification aims to enhance the combat experience against this enemy.

Reduces the cooldown for using the “Boon of the Elder Tree” from 15 seconds to 5 seconds.

〓Bug Fixes〓
● Quests
Addresses a problem that occurs when engaging with the tabletop during Clorinde’s Story Quest “Hunters’ Gathering,” causing the game to transition to an incorrect scene under specific conditions.
● Enemies
In this scenario, if multiple destructive waves from a single round of the Baleful Vajra’s attacks are striking the same character while fighting “Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto,” the damage dealt will be calculated correctly instead of being incorrectly reduced.
Addresses a potential problem where the “Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant” might not sustain damage from Electro-Charged reactions during combat.
Corrects a problem that allows the “Adaptive Countermeasures” progress to incorrectly persist, even after the game has been paused during battles against the “Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device” or “Secret Source Automaton: Hunter-Seeker.
Addresses a problem that may occur when a player faints during a fight against “Childe,” “Signora,” “Shouki no Kami,” or “Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto,” resulting in the enemy incorrectly leaving combat and restoring their health.
● Characters
Resolves an issue that occurs when Xilonen triggers a Source Sample; the intended special effect fails to show up correctly on specific devices.
Addresses a problem that occurs when Yelan activates her Elemental Skill to tag opponents. If her Lifeline detonates during the activation of Nightsoul Transmission, causing a switch to another character, the resulting Elemental Energy might behave irregularly.
As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that a fix has been implemented for a situation where Xilonen would incorrectly continue in an idle animation instead of continuing her climb, when she fell during the Nightsoul’s Blessing state under certain conditions. This enhancement ensures a smoother gameplay experience!
Correctly shows Xilonen’s Charged Attack special effect, which may have previously appeared incorrect due to elemental infusion.
Addresses a problem that occurs when Kachina performs a Normal Attack on Turbo Twirly during Co-Op Mode, causing unintended camera instability for other Travelers.
Addresses a problem that causes characters who have the alternate Sprint Skill or Nightsoul’s Blessing status to exhibit fast, unusual jerking motions on the water’s surface when they use those skills or enter those states under particular situations.
● Genius Invokation TCG
Resolves a problem in which, once Chiori’s Character Card has been defeated following the summon of Grouchy, Knife-Wielding Tamoto (humanoid), and subsequently revived, Chiori’s Normal Attacks fail to activate Tamoto’s effects.
Resolves a problem that occurs when “Abyss Lector: Violet Lightning” character card becomes frozen, preventing the use of its skill cards.
● Audio
As a game enthusiast, I’ve sorted out a snag where my character’s actions seem to activate unwanted sound cues following certain challenges linked with the phrase “O Nightsoul, inscribe your shadow in this place…” Now, everything should be running smoothly!
Improves audio clarity for certain sections of Citlali’s English narration within the Archon Quest “Beyond the Smoke and Mirrors.
● Other
Addresses a problem that occurs when Geo structures are unnaturally generated on the “Destroyer’s Podium” following the placement of the device.
Addresses a problem occurring under certain conditions when Saurians from Natlan, who were possessed and manipulated, inaccurately regenerated Health Points (HP) despite the absence of “Teleportation Checkpoints” nearby, failing to heal properly.
Alters a problem that occurred when the game camera failed to reset to its normal distance after players were transported from the heads of “Long-Necked Rhinos” to different locations.
Resolves a problem that prevents the “Rhythm Tengoku” achievement from being earned, by ensuring that the “Electro Abyss Mage” does not restore its Ward during gameplay.
Addresses a problem where, under Co-Op Mode, there’s a slim possibility that Saurians’ visual effects might not appear correctly to the primary player (Player 1), while other players control Saurians simultaneously.
Corrects text errors in selected languages and enhances text quality (Note: In-game functions remain unchanged. Players can view these changes by navigating to the Paimon Menu > Settings > Language and changing the Game Language.)
