How Lala Kent Feels About Her Daughters Seeing Vanderpump Rules

Lala Kent knows that it was her time.

The TV personality from “Vanderpump Rules” finds it perfectly fine for her daughters Ocean (aged 3) and Sosa (2 months) to watch her dramatic scenes on the Bravo reality show in the future, given that their age allows for it.

Speaking with TopMob News in an exclusive interview on November 18th, I shared that throughout my 34 years, I’ve made choices I’m not entirely proud of. However, life isn’t about perfection, is it? As we grow older, we inevitably encounter situations like a fleeting romance or an occasional misstep due to too much alcohol. And despite my efforts to protect her from the complexities of the world, there will come a time when she embarks on her own experiences, and I know she’ll look back at mine as well.

Lala finds it acceptable for her children to witness her navigating both the high points and low points of her life, following a relationship with costar James Kennedy, arguments with various costars, and a split from Randall Emmett.

The host of the “Give The Them Lala” podcast went on to say, “I don’t feel any apprehension about her searching me online or watching the program. I truly hope that whatever she discovers, she’ll think, ‘Wow, my mom has quite a story to tell.’

Lala intends to instill the importance of allowing for errors and fostering open dialogue with her daughters as they grow up.

“This is a judgment free zone,” she noted. “It may be a safe space for me to talk about things that maybe other people’s moms want to shelter them from. I find the more that we keep from the kids, or try to make it seem like this is a bad space, they’re curious. I want her to know I’ve been the drunk girl taking her top off in the waterfall. It’s mortifying now. So just think twice before you do something like that.”

In terms of managing two children since Sosa joined the family, Lala has adapted remarkably well.

She had been led to believe that the transition would be a difficult and terrifying ordeal, but instead, she found it surprisingly smooth. She attributes this to the fact that Sosa, her newborn, is incredibly easy-going. In fact, Sosa often seems so relaxed that her mother has to remind her that she’s there because Sosa just enjoys chilling and being content. The mother adores this baby.

And Ocean is already doting over her little sister.

“She’s killing it,” Lala gushed. “She saw this baby and immediately was her protector.”

Regarding the experience of raising two children as a single mom since Sosa’s arrival in September, Lala is managing quite well.

She stated that everyone had warned her that it would be a challenging and frightening experience, but she was incredibly well-prepared for the worst. To her surprise, though, the transition turned out to be remarkably smooth. She attributes this ease to the fact that her baby, Sosa, is a dream come true. Sosa is so laidback and calm that at times, she has to remind herself that Sosa is actually there because she just seems to chill and relax so much. The new mother is absolutely smitten with this little one.

And Ocean is already doting over her little sister.

Speaking about her latest collaboration with Ninja Thirsti’s Zero Soda Flavor Drops, the Bravo star shared that these beverages align seamlessly with her grown-up, non-alcoholic lifestyle.

She shared that the collaboration came about due to her passion for carbonated water and finding suitable opportunities that align with her personally. With six years of sobriety under her belt, sparkling water became a source of comfort for her during stressful times. However, her consumption was becoming excessive. Then, she discovered Ninja Thirsti, which seemed like the perfect blend of her preferences.
