Bad Sisters’ Claes Bang in new teaser for star-studded William Tell epic

As a seasoned cinemagoer with a penchant for historical epics and a soft spot for Claes Bang’s captivating performances, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of “William Tell” on January 10th, 2025. Having been enthralled by his portrayal of the sinister yet intriguing character in Bad Sisters, I eagerly await to see him take on the titular role in this new film, directed by the accomplished Nick Hamm.

As viewers savor the current season of Bad Sisters, it’s clear that the absence of Claes Bang’s character, following his death in season 1, leaves quite a conspicuous void.

It’s great news for viewers! They won’t have to wait much longer to catch him in a fresh leading role because he’s starring in BAFTA Award-winning director Nick Hamm’s upcoming film, “William Tell,” which is set to hit theaters on January 10th, 2025.

The film brings to life the legendary tale of the 14th century marksman, who at the start is seen as a peaceful hunter, thrust into the heart of the resistance when the Austrian Empire invades Switzerland.
