As a hardcore Silent Hill fan with countless hours spent navigating its eerie and twisted corridors, I was overjoyed when the remake of Silent Hill 2 dropped for the PS5. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration as graphical glitches marred my experience on Sony’s new console. Thankfully, the developers at Bloober Team have released a patch to address these issues, and while some players are still reporting hiccups, I’m optimistic that future patches will continue to improve the game.
On the PS5, many early adopters were eager to experience the remake of Silent Hill 2, given its status as a highly anticipated exclusive and one of the platform’s most visually stunning games. However, after the release of the PS5 Pro patch for the horror game by Bloober Team and Konami, it was discovered that the title suffered from several graphical issues on the console.
Initially, the team behind the game, Developer Bloober Team, had stated they were investigating certain issues, and they’ve now released Patch 1.06 to tackle those problems specifically. This patch is designed to resolve graphical glitches on the PS5 Pro version of the game, promising a potentially improved gaming experience for players using Sony’s latest console. However, it’s important to note that some users are still encountering visual and technical issues on social media, suggesting there may be additional patches with further fixes in the future from both Bloober Team and Konami.
Additionally, this update addresses numerous gameplay bugs, as well as resolving various problems specific to its Steam version. The detailed list of changes can be found below.
