Netflix Removes “Disrespectful” Arcane Season 2 Poster After Backlash

As a seasoned gamer and long-time fan of League of Legends, I must say that my anticipation for Arcane’s second season has been nothing short of palpable. Having followed the development of this animated series since its conception, I can confidently affirm that it has surpassed even my lofty expectations.

As a passionate gamer, I’m eagerly waiting for the final episodes of Arcane’s second season. If the previous installments are any indication, it promises to bring the series to a thrilling conclusion. Riot Games and Studio Fortiche have confirmed that this will mark the end of Jinx and Vi’s current tale, but they’ve hinted at more League of Legends stories making their way onto our screens in the future. However, before we can witness the series finale on Netflix, there’s been a bit of controversy stirring up. This is due to an image some fans believe was created using artificial intelligence.

In recent years, the battle against AI in the animation industry has gained widespread attention, both in North America and globally. Recently, creators within the anime sphere have formed groups and initiatives to combat the application of artificial intelligence across various aspects of their field, including animation, voice acting, and other industry sectors. Although Netflix hasn’t issued a formal statement about using AI specifically in an image featuring Vi and Jinx, a Brand Lead at Riot Games has addressed fan concerns following the release of an Arcane image for the second season.

Arcane’s Artificial Intelligence Problem

It came to light that a picture for Arcane’s second season, which was shared recently, seemed to have employed AI to expand the image beyond its original boundaries. Upon viewing this image, Brand Lead of Riot Games, Alex Shahmir, assured fans of Arcane that no artificial intelligence was utilized in the series whatsoever. He promptly took steps to delete the image. Here’s a direct quote from Alex and the contentious picture that has surfaced online:

Thank you for pointing that out. Our policy is firm against using AI for content related to arcane, as it’s seen as disregarding the hard work of the talented artists involved in the production. The image in question was a mistake and has now been taken down. Once again, thank you for bringing this to our notice.

Thank you for pointing that out. We maintain a firm policy against using AI in matters concerning the arcane, as it fails to honor the exceptional work of the artists involved in the project. Regrettably, the image in question was an oversight and has now been taken down. Once again, thank you for bringing this to our notice.

Does Arcane Season 2 Stick The Landing?

In our assessment of the second season of Arcane, we at egmr.ru were pleasantly surprised by the first six episodes shown. Whether you’re a new viewer of Arcane or like me, who has been anticipating Season 2 for three years, it’s difficult not to be overwhelmed by what’s presented in these initial six episodes. Riot and Fortiche had high standards to live up to this time, and so far, they’ve exceeded all expectations. Despite some reservations about how Arcane might conclude, I’m more eager than ever before for the future projects of Riot in this multimedia landscape over the coming years.

Previously stated, the second season of “Arcane” marks its end, yet more tales in the animated world of “League of Legends” are anticipated. The second season has been divided into three distinct sections, with the concluding episodes set for release on Saturday, November 23rd. It’s worth noting that “Arcane” is one of the costliest animated series ever produced, a fact evident in the high-quality animation, a result of the dedicated efforts by studio Fortiche.
