WWE’s Jade Cargill Brutally Attacked with a Car on SmackDown, but Who Attacked Her?

As a lifelong wrestling fan with more years under my belt than I care to admit, this recent turn of events on WWE SmackDown has left me absolutely flabbergasted! The attack on Jade Cargill was not just a cheap shot, but a brutal act that could potentially change the course of Women’s Division.

On WWE SmackDown, The Bloodline kicked off the night’s events, but they couldn’t compare to the intensity of the Women’s United States Championship Triple Threat qualifying match that followed. Following Bayley’s win last week, the next contender would be determined in a clash between Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green, and Blair Davenport. However, an unexpected twist occurred when the video screen displayed footage of Belair’s tag team partner Jade Cargill being brutally assaulted by an unknown assailant. The attack left Cargill with a shattered car windshield behind her head, leaving fans to ponder the identity of the culprit.

Initially, all three females aimed for swift victories by executing covers. Bianca Belair showcased her power from the start. Davenport wrapped Belair’s braid around the bottom rope, followed by a brutal stomp from the top turnbuckle on her back. She then targeted Belair’s face with repeated stomps, wearing her down.

Green got back into the fight with multiple covers but couldn’t get any of them to land. Belair took charge again later in the match, but Green hit the Rough Rider and knocked her down, only to get stomped by Davenport. Belair went for the finisher but got hit with double knees and then Green went for a pin but Davenport kicked out.

Initially, Green aimed for victory in the Unprettier match, but then Belair delivered a suplex to both opponents. Belair attempted a cover, but Green managed to thwart it. Up high, Green had Davenport positioned and executed a superplex. However, Belair intervened and tried to pin Davenport. Green followed with another cover attempt, but Belair dragged him out and flung him over the barricade. Despite this, Davenport survived the pin thanks to Belair, keeping the match alive.

It was then that the screen displayed footage from backstage, exposing Jade Cargill lying injured atop a car’s windshield. Belair, her partner and friend, rushed out of the ring to check on her. This action resulted in Green pinning Davenport, allowing them to advance in the tournament. As a consequence, Green will compete against Bayley in the next round. The victory seems to hint that Cargill’s assailant might be Green’s tag team partner, Piper Niven.

Besides aiding her friend and teammate in a remarkable task, Niven stands out as one of the rare individuals capable of such an achievement. Her strength is such that she can overpower Cargill and execute a slam forceful enough to shatter a windshield. Additionally, Niven’s absence from ringside during Green’s match raises questions about her whereabouts, which this scenario could conveniently answer.

It remains unclear how Cargill’s situation will unfold or how long she might be absent, causing concern for Belair as it means she misses an opportunity to challenge for the United States Championship. If Niven is responsible, Green and her partner should brace themselves for a formidable backlash coming their way.
