As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must admit, I was initially skeptical about Paramount Pictures’ Sonic the Hedgehog 3. However, upon seeing the latest trailer, I can’t help but feel a twinge of nostalgia. The return of Shadow the Hedgehog, voiced by the cool-as-ice Keanu Reeves, and the glimpse of Space Colony ARK, reminiscent of Sonic Adventure 2, has my inner Sega Genesis humming with excitement.
The latest movie from Paramount Pictures, titled Sonic the Hedgehog 3, has just released a new trailer. Besides showcasing more of Shadow the Hedgehog, voiced by Keanu Reeves, it also offers glimpses into the schemes of Dr. Eggman and Professor Gerald Robotnik.
In collaboration, Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails unite in a joint effort; however, they’ll eventually need assistance from recurring characters Tom and Maddie. The location resembling Space Colony ARK from Sonic Adventure 2 (at least it appears to be) experiences a devastating impact, while the enigmatic Shadow gets his hands on a firearm for the first time.
The final battle between the team and Shadow, and how they’ll thwart his scheme, is yet to be revealed, but there are thrilling battles and dramatic scenes to anticipate. The much-awaited release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 hits theaters on December 20th.
