How Dancing With the Stars Season 33 Was the Most Intimate Yet

As a seasoned observer of the Dancing with the Stars universe, I must say that the romantic entanglements of its contestants have always been as captivating as their dance moves.

For quite some time, this popular series has seen a variety of genuine romances unfold, ranging from fleeting relationships that fizzled out when the last samba dance ended, to those lasting unions that likely wouldn’t have begun without the influence of the ballroom.

However, as the 33rd season of “DWTS” approaches its finale on November 26, it’s challenging not to recall a past edition that was so rich in electric chemistry and affectionate ambiance.

And that doesn’t even include the pros who are married to each other, Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson (who’s in the finale with Joey Graziadei) and Pasha Pashkov and Daniela Karagach.

It appears that belonging to an established relationship was the key factor preventing any celebrities or athletes from becoming entangled in romantic storylines this season, whether they were actual relationships or merely wished-for ones.

The recent hunt for the Len Goodman Mirror Ball Trophy commenced in September, as a budding romance blossomed between professional dancer Gleb Savchenko and model Brooks Nader.

During rehearsals, as well as in front of the judges and during their post-performance discussions while waiting for their scores, it was evident that the duo didn’t explicitly confess their feelings, but they also didn’t make any attempts to conceal their mutual attraction. (And let’s not forget about the Rumba set to “Sexual Healing” on the dance floor!)

Brooks shared with TopMob News correspondent Will Marfuggi following the September 24 episode of DWTS that they’re simply enjoying themselves and living their lives as they are. Gleb added, “Over long hours and days spent rehearsing together, a unique chemistry develops, especially when we dance together – it’s quite palpable.

To which Brooks cheekily added, “We also are fond of each other.”

However, following their elimination on October 15th, the romance generated by the show appeared to falter. Eventually, Gleb confessed that he had sent a decisive text message, indicating that he and Brooks were no longer together.

He shared with Too Fab on November 12th that there has been no communication between them. He genuinely misses her because she brings a unique energy to their interactions. She’s an amazing individual and he had a fantastic time in their association. When you asked if it was one of his best seasons, he confirmed it without hesitation. This season ranks among the top for him.

Since then, Gleb and Brooks have been seen spending time together (it was announced they will appear in the final episode, as it’s common for eliminated pairs to make a comeback). However, keeping consistent with his style, he deflected all questions about their relationship status to TikTok.

“Just follow me and follow Brooks,” he told TopMob Nov. 18, “and it’s all there.”

And they aren’t the only ones dropping bread crumbs on social media.

Jenn Tran, having recently joined the ABC show after a heartrending split with her ex-fiancé Devin Strater, who was facilitated by The Bachelorette, appears to have at the minimum discovered an incredibly compassionate ally in professional partner Sasha Farber.

Because he’s no longer married to professional dancer Emma Slater, who parted ways with “Family Matters” actor Reginald VelJohnson on October 8, viewers seemed to believe that Sasha was the suitable match for Jenn.

After Jenn shared that she intended to confront her post-breakup struggles by dancing, Sasha responded to TopMob, “It truly sounds difficult,” expressing empathy. “I’ll stand by her, offer my support, and I feel as though I’ll be there for her no matter the time.

On November 11th, Sasha shared on his Instagram story that the name Sasha is actually a short form of Alexander, and interestingly enough, there was another famous Alexander, known as Alexander the Great!

In her post on November 21st, Jenn expressed that the person who choreographed this opening is undeniably the most exceptional and gifted professional ever seen, and she believed they should still be competing in the semi-finals, as they were outstanding enough to dance. This was written above a reel showcasing Sasha dancing with the ensemble.

She captioned the post, “Who said that that’s crazy.” Sasha then commented, “Busted.”

He celebrated her 27th birthday on November 25 with a touching tribute, describing Jenn as more than just a pleasure to collaborate with. He also expressed that she helped him understand that life is like a dance, and together they can move gracefully through it.
