Sister Wives' Christine Brown Shares How Honeymoon Didn't Go to Plan

As a seasoned observer of family dynamics and personal growth, I find it truly heartwarming to witness the journeys of these remarkable individuals from the Brown family. Each one has navigated through life’s ups and downs with grace, love, and resilience, making their own unique mark in this world.

Christine Brown experienced some rough waters on vacation.

During their honeymoon, the star of Sister Wives disclosed an unexpected twist in her journey with husband David Woolley. This happened during a boat trip intended for exploring the stunning Calanques National Park in Southern France, where they tied the knot in October 2023.

In her Instagram post on November 25th, Christine expressed that the vistas were simply breathtaking, something to be marveled at in person. She confessed, however, that the boat journey wasn’t as effortless for her (sea sickness can be quite real!).

But the pair still made the most out of their nautical outing.

Christine added, “Despite the effort, it was truly rewarding to live such a one-of-a-kind, awe-inspiring moment. If you find yourself nearby, I can’t stress enough how much you should check it out.

Personally, as a lifestyle enthusiast, I’ve discovered a valuable lesson from my journey, having children such as Aspyn Brown, Mykelti Brown Padron, Paedon Brown, Gwendlyn Brown, Ysabel Brown, and Truely Brown with my former partner Kody Brown. This experience has taught me that embracing new adventures can often result in memories that are truly unforgettable. To put it simply, it’s a great reminder that stepping beyond your comfort zone can sometimes lead to remarkable moments worth cherishing.

Except for occasional bouts of sea sickness, the couple’s European vacation, spanning cities like Barcelona, Spain and Italy, has surpassed their expectations in every way.

“We LOVE Barcelona,” Christine shared on Instagram Nov. 4. “The architecture, food and people!!”

Moreover, they both found themselves equally captivated during their exploration of Florence, Italy, where they admired the Duomo, the ancient Ponte Vecchio bridge, Michelangelo’s statue of David, and numerous other attractions.

Florence left me speechless, surrounded by artwork everywhere!” Christine exclaimed atop her Nov. 11 Instagram video, further noting in the caption, “I’ve been longing for a trip to Florence since I watched the 1985 film ‘A Room with A View.’ #dreamcometrue

In essence, the departure has proved yet another fantastic element in Christine’s latest chapter of life, as she disclosed her separation from her fellow star on ‘Sister Wives’ and ex-polygamist partner Kody, which she announced in November 2021.

She had earlier shared with TopMob News that she found it refreshing to begin anew in a fresh phase of her life, regarding her marriage to David. In simpler terms, they were both embarking on a new phase together.

Kody Brown playfully remarked on Sister Wives that when he first met Robyn in 2009, she resembled a soccer mom with a van, three children, and being divorced. He initially thought it would be unnecessary to involve such a setup in his life, as he perceived it as potential trouble. However, over the past decade and a half, they are still together and have added two more children, Solomon and Ariella, to their family. Regarding adding any additional members to their group, Kody mentioned it’s not part of their strategy. Robyn explained on Sister Wives: One on One special that leaving Meri, Janelle, and Christine felt difficult for her because it seemed like moving on to new people after previous relationships didn’t work. This idea feels disrespectful to her, as she finds it challenging to accept.

He is kind and wonderful, a perfect fit with my children and an endearing grandfather. I never imagined I could experience such profound love.
