Now, after a gap of two years since Season 2 premiered, the series is back for a third season in 2025. This news excites many fans eager to explore more about the characters; however, it has also left some perplexed, particularly following the way Season 2 concluded.
Fortunately, individuals who have only experienced the live-action series and haven’t delved into the manga still have many unexpected turns and developments to look forward to without it seeming contrived. Moreover, a crucial question on fans’ minds is when they can finally witness the arrival of Season 3 of Alice in Borderland on Netflix.
When Will Alice in Borderland Season 3 Be Released On Netflix?

The protagonist, Ryohei Arisu, finds himself back in the Borderland, compelled to participate in another life-or-death game. With age comes increased desperation as he strives to reunite with his wife who eagerly awaits him at home. Surrounded by a blend of new and familiar characters, Arisu’s journey takes on renewed urgency. Unlike the original series which spanned an extensive 18 volumes, “Retry” is significantly shorter, consisting of only two volumes.
In summary, the brief duration of “Retry” makes it an ideal fit for the third season due to its brevity. The showrunners might consider using materials from another sequel, “Alice on Border Road,” but considering Kento Yamazaki’s return as the lead in “Alice in Borderland” Season 3, it seems plausible that they will instead concentrate on a storyline centered around Arisu.
