Gimmighoul was distributed during a promotional event for the Paldean Winds series, with its original trainer identified as “Paldea.” Conversely, Quaxly is modeled after the one used by Dot in Pokemon Horizons: The Series, and she is listed as its original trainer. Similarly, the other two initial Pokemon were distributed through Mystery Gift promotions. Unfortunately, the code for Liko’s Sprigatito has expired, but Roy’s Fuecoco can still be obtained by using the code 909TEAMUP06 before January 31st.
For first-time users in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet who haven’t previously claimed a Mystery Gift, the process is straightforward and only takes around a minute. In the game’s main menu, select Poke Portal, then pick Mystery Gift from the subsequent screen. After that, choose “Get with Code/Password” to connect to the internet. On the next screen, players will be prompted to input the code. Readers should bear in mind that for Gimmighoul and Quaxly, any occurrence of the digit ‘0’ is represented as the letter ‘o.’ If the code is entered correctly, a notification indicating the item has been received will appear.
