As a dedicated Pokemon GO player with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the upcoming Just My Cup of Tea event has me more excited than a Sinnoh Stone at a Legendary raid. The debut of Sinistea and Polteageist is long overdue, and I can hardly contain my anticipation!
Not much can compare to the thrill that fresh Pokemon introductions bring in Pokemon GO, and the Just My Cup of Tea event coming up on December 3rd promises not one but two new additions! This marks the beginning of the Dual Destiny season within Pokemon GO. After many gamers felt somewhat let down by the Max Out season, there’s a lot of anticipation building around the upcoming event schedule to see if the next season will live up to expectations.
It seems that Niantic has been keeping players on their toes lately by revealing fresh event details, and it appears things are getting more exciting. The Just My Cup of Tea event will introduce the Black Tea Pokemon, Sinistea, along with its evolved form, Polteageist, into Pokemon GO. This Pokemon first appeared in the series during Pokemon Sword and Shield, and has also featured in the Pokemon Horizons anime. It’s clear that many players are eagerly awaiting the chance to add this Ghost-type teacup Pokemon to their Pokemon GO collection.
Starting Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024 at 10 AM local time, the “Just My Cup of Tea” event featuring two Pokemon kicks off and continues until Saturday, December 7th, 2024 at 8 PM local time. During this period, Sinistea will be appearing in Raids and as a reward encounter, providing an opportunity for players to catch it and subsequently evolve a Polteageist by using 50 Candies. Although the debut of Sinistea and Polteageist is undoubtedly a significant attraction, trainers can anticipate more exciting elements during this inaugural event in the Dual Destiny season.
Just My Cup of Tea Raids and Wild Encounter Pokemon
In addition to the opportunity to capture Pokemon themed around tea, players can expect double friendship damage in Raids, as well as an extra 50% stardust for participating in these events. This could potentially signal a return of the test feature that allowed players to join raids directly from their friends list. Regardless, more rewards from Raids is always welcome!
