As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can confidently say that the latest addition to the Marvel Rivals roster, Squirrel Girl, has piqued my interest like no other. Having grown up watching cartoons and reading comics, I’ve always had a soft spot for the underdogs, and Doreen Green is just that – a quirky heroine with a heart of gold and a bag full of nuts.
In the latest update, NetEase Games has unveiled the remaining launch characters for Marvel Rivals, among them is none other than Squirrel Girl. Known for vanquishing formidable adversaries such as Thanos and Galactus, Doreen Green is a skilled combatant who employs her slingshot and an abundance of nuts to subdue enemies. Here are some of her abilities detailed below.
In addition to using a slingshot to shoot enemies from afar (with the added effect that shots can bounce off walls), she can also hurl a massive nut that summons a swarm of squirrels to immobilize adversaries. She additionally boasts a powerful jump for greater agility to evade or strategically maneuver. For her ultimate ability, it’s called the Squirrel Stampede – a furious charge of squirrels.
Among the five freshly unveiled characters are Squirrel Girl, Wolverine, Iron Fist, Black Widow, and Cloak and Dagger. Keep an eye out for updates on their gear sets soon.
