My Hero Academia Popularity Poll Results Announce Big Surprise for Fans

As a hardcore gamer and avid fan of manga, I’ve been deeply immersed in the world of My Hero Academia for quite some time now. The conclusion of this epic 10-year journey has left me with a mix of emotions – joy, nostalgia, and a tinge of sadness that it’s all over. Yet, the anticipation for what lies ahead is palpable.

The manga titled “My Hero Academia” wrapped up its 10-year journey in August, selling over 100 million copies globally. This captivating story revolves around Izuku Midoriya’s aspirations to rise as the top hero despite not being born with any superpowers (or quirks) himself. In a world where these abilities are prevalent, he receives assistance from his peers and instructors after acquiring a rare quirk called “One for All” from his guide, All-Might.

In honor of the manga’s finale and its recent achievements, Shonen Jump allowed fans worldwide to cast their votes for their favorite characters. These votes were then used to compile a list of the top 100 characters out of a total of 278. The publisher announced the results, which were based on approximately 6.12 million votes, on Monday. Additionally, they unveiled details about a few upcoming projects that are currently in development.

My Hero Academia 2025 Plans

After the poll outcomes were revealed, the initial major announcement was that a “My Hero Academia” fanbook, slated for release in 2025, is currently being worked on. Dubbed as the “My Hero Academia Final Fan Book”, this publication will showcase the results from all four Super Poll events. Moreover, it will include answers to fans’ questions directly from Kōhei Horikoshi, the mastermind behind the series.

The second piece of news shared is that in the year 2025, an exclusive art exhibition honoring the conclusion of the “My Hero Academia” manga will take place. This event will unfold at the Creative Tokyo Museum located in Kyobash, Tokyo, from June 21st to August 31st. Given that 2025 is also slated to be the year for the final season of the anime adaptation, it’s anticipated that 2025 promises a grand celebration for “My Hero Academia” and will serve as a farewell for one of the most beloved series in the last decade.
