Channel 4 confirms Christmas TV schedule including Alternative Christmas Message

As a film critic with a soft spot for British television and a heart full of nostalgia, I can hardly contain my excitement for this year’s Channel 4 Christmas lineup! The Great British Bake Off soap special promises a delightful dose of drama and sugar, just what we need to spice up our holiday season.

The clock is now ticking towards the special occasion, and in keeping with the holiday mood, Channel 4 has revealed its lineup for this year’s Christmas television schedule, featuring their traditional Alternative Christmas Speech and a unique Bake Off drama episode.

Get ready for a soapy blast before Christmas arrives, as The Great British Bake Off returns with a holiday-themed episode featuring stars like Dean Gaffney, Natalie Cassidy, Shobna Gulati, Sheree Murphy, and Chris Bisson under the iconic tent!

On Christmas Day, you can watch as we reveal who will be crowned the Festive Star Baker at 1:30 PM.

In addition to the schedule, Channel 4 will broadcast holiday-themed episodes of shows like Gogglebox (at 9:15 pm on Christmas Eve), The Festive Pottery Throw Down (at 9 pm on Boxing Day), and another Bake Off special, perfect for New Year’s festivities (at 1:30 pm on December 30th).
