Dalgliesh season 3 cast – Meet the characters in the Channel 5 drama

As a seasoned cinephile with decades of movie-watching under my belt and a penchant for British crime dramas, I must say that the return of Bertie Carvel as Adam Dalgliesh in Channel 5’s Dalgliesh is nothing short of a delightful reunion. With his captivating performance and the intriguing plotlines, this series has become one of my favorites to watch after a long day at the cinema.

In the third season of Channel 5’s crime drama, Bertie Carvel once again graces our screens, reprising his role as Detective Chief Inspector Adam Dalgliesh.

In the next six episodes, Carlyss Peer reprises her role as DS Kate Miskin, while Alistair Brammer takes on the part of DS Daniel Tarrant. They intermittently appear throughout these episodes that delve into three of P.D. James’s novels – specifically, Death in Holy Orders, Cover Her Face (her initial novel), and Devices and Desires.

The initial case involves the homicide of a high-ranking church official at a seminary located in West Sussex.

Each time, I’ve noticed an influx of fresh faces into our ensemble, many of whom I’ve had the pleasure of recognizing from previous roles.
