As a die-hard fan of the original “Kingdom Come: Deliverance”, hearing about its sequel, “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” moving up its release date to December 4th, 2025, feels like Christmas came early! I’ve been eagerly awaiting this game for years and can barely contain my excitement.
Good news for those eagerly waiting! Instead of releasing on February 11th, 2025 as previously announced, ‘Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’ will be available one week earlier starting December 4th. To wet your appetite even more, a new trailer is scheduled to drop tomorrow, and the game has already gone gold, which means it’s on track for release.
In a video recently posted by Warhorse Studios, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, their senior PR manager, discussed updates regarding Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. He first mentioned details about the costly Collector’s Edition and that the game has reached its ‘gold’ status. Since it’s now in this final stage of development, he explained that Warhorse Studios can focus more on fixing bugs and improving the game even further. Additionally, he shared that PC system requirements and a new trailer will be revealed this week on Thursday along with these updates.
He explained that “KCD2 ” has been classified as gold, which essentially signifies that the game is nearly complete. At this stage, we are focusing on optimizations and bug-fixing. Consequently, we can now also reveal the PC requirements for “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2“, and they will be unveiled along with the story trailer tomorrow.
Exciting update: The sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance, titled Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, is set to reach your homes on February 4th, 2025!

Regarding the launch date, Stolz-Zwilling mentioned it towards the end of the video, albeit with limited details about why it was advanced. The reason is unclear, but it’s exciting that we can begin 2025 with an exceptional game. Typically, game releases get delayed rather than moved up, so this unexpected shift in schedule is a pleasant surprise for fans eagerly awaiting the sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
For gamers eagerly anticipating new RPGs in February, the potential shift in the release date for “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” might provide a bit of breathing space from other titles vying for attention. Initially slated to launch alongside “Sid Meier’s Civilization 7,” and just days before “Assassin’s Creed Shadows” and “Avowed,” the developers at Warhorse Studios may be opting for some distance between these high-profile releases to ensure a smoother gaming experience for fans.
Previously this year, I got a glimpse of an early build of ‘Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’. After playing it, I have high expectations for the game as it seems to be shaping up to meet the anticipation of fans who played ‘Kingdom Come: Deliverance’. However, much can alter between now and its release, but based on this sneak peek, it’s promising to be a worthy successor.
