Following her wedding to John Stamos in 2018 and the birth of their son Billy shortly after, the actress decided to retreat from public life. Although focusing on her family played a significant role in this choice, Caitlin clarified that it was not the only factor influencing her decision for a change.

In an exclusive interview with TopMob News,” she shared, “doctors advised me to halt my travels due to a health concern I’m facing. It’s quite peculiar as I’ve been experiencing some memory issues, which is truly unusual.

Caitlin didn’t explicitly disclose her diagnosis, but she did share that the ailment affected her thyroid and hormones. But while her step back from working was related to health reasons, spending more time with her now-6-year-old was a welcome bonus.

Becoming a mother made her certain of those choices,” she continued. “It wasn’t about reconsidering or returning to old pursuits. Rather, it was more like deciding, ‘No, I want to improve and invest my energies not in a career but in other aspects of life.’

Indeed, the 38-year-old has kept more than a little busy with her other ventures.

She mentioned that she runs a bracelet business, further explaining that she’s also newly established a nonprofit organization named Civic Soul.

Despite initially planning not to, Caitlin chose to appear in front of the camera once more for the upcoming Apple TV movie, titled The Invisible Raptor, set for release on Dec 6. In the end, she found herself unable to resist the opportunity.

She gushed about the script, admitting that she found herself smitten by it. The humor in it was contagious, making her laugh uncontrollably despite its horror and suspense elements.

Caitlin found the movie’s script so hilarious that she couldn’t help but interrupt John as he was going through it.
