As a devotee of the silver screen who’s spent countless hours immersed in fantasy worlds, I can hardly contain my excitement as The Wheel of Time prepares to spin again! With season 3 set to arrive on March 13th, 2025, I find myself eagerly counting down the days like a child awaiting Christmas morning.
After quite a while with no updates, it’s now official that The Wheel of Time will spin once more shortly. We have confirmation on the release date for season 3, along with a sneak peek and a summary of what we can expect from the new season.
In season 3, there’s plenty to explore as it picks up from where the season 2 finale left off, introducing a formidable new adversary named Moghedien.
In the latest sneak peek, we see a thrilling display of action as Moiraine Damodred, portrayed by Rosamund Pike, and Rand al’Thor, played by Josha Stradowski, embark on their travels towards the Aiel Waste.
As Rand’s power intensifies, Moiraine finds it crucial to keep him from succumbing to corruption – and judging by the trailer, this may require a selfless act on her part, possibly even giving up her own life for his sake.
The Wheel of Time season 3 release date
The Wheel of Time season 3 will land on 13th March 2025.
The third season of The Wheel of Time was renewed ahead of its second premiere, as Amazon Studios announced this news back in 2023.

The Wheel of Time season 3 plot: What could happen?
Following the defeat of Ishamael in the final moments of season 2, Rand meets up again with his companions in Falme, where he is proclaimed as the Newborn Dragon.
We’d also expect to find out more about Moghedien, who is introduced at the end of season 2.
After the Battle of Falme in the second season, Lanfear finds herself back at her abode to discover a woman engaged in a weaving of One Power within it.
Unexpectedly, the uninvited visitor was revealed as Moghedien, a sinister member of the Forsaken. She then ensnared Lanfear using her magical webs.
How many episodes will be in The Wheel of Time season 3?
We’re expecting another eight episodes in The Wheel of Time season 3.
