Nintendo unveiled a comprehensive three-minute preview trailer for Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, showcasing its lush Donkey Kong Island backdrop, various stage components, gaming controls, and additional features.

Jump, roll, and stomp through Donkey Kong Island in 2D platforming action.
Assist Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong in retrieving their valuable banana stockpile from the mischievous Tiki Tak Tribe! Crush adversaries, burst through barrels, and hop on rockets, mine carts, and even Rambi the rhino for an exhilarating ride across 80 levels distributed among nine different realms.
Experience the game as originally intended on the Wii, or opt for an easier mode with additional hearts and rewards. The high-definition, barrel-shooting escapade looks even better on the Nintendo Switch and comes with bonus stages from the Nintendo 3DS edition!
Team up with a friend and take on the whole game as Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong
Share a Joy-Con controller with a friend and engage in two-player mode against the Tiki Tak Tribe as DK and Diddy. Fire enemies with Diddy’s Peanut Popgun, fly using his Barrel Jet, or roll through them with Barrel Roll. Cooperate to retrieve bunches of bananas from their hiding places!
