Black Myth: Wukong PS5 Patch Adds Challenge Mode, Maps, Free Armour

Today, Game Science is launching an update for Black Myth: Wukong on PS5 that brings a fresh challenge mode, new in-game maps, and complimentary armor pieces for the widely enjoyed action game. This update will be available within the next 24 hours, upgrading the game to version 1.0.12.16581.

In the challenge setting, known as the Keeper’s Shrine, becomes accessible upon completing the game. Here, you get to engage in Return of Rivals, where defeated bosses reappear across three levels of difficulty. Additionally, Gauntlet of Legends presents a tougher test by having you face multiple adversaries simultaneously and applying curses that increase the overall challenge. Overcoming these trials rewards you with fresh weapons and equipment.

A notable improvement is the inclusion of Journeyer’s Maps, functioning like in-game navigational tools. Previously, the game lacked such a map, making navigation between its chapters slightly trickier than anticipated. However, after installing the update, players can acquire Journeyer’s Maps from shrines as they enter fresh territories.
