As someone who has grown up with the magic and mystery of the Yu-Gi-Oh! world, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming Early Days Collection! With Funko adding new Pops to our collection, it’s like reliving my childhood all over again. From Alexis Rhodes to Dark Magician, these figures are a testament to the enduring charm of the series.
For fans eagerly anticipating the upcoming “Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection” video game due next year, Funko offers a delightful addition: “Why not let them indulge further in Yu-Gi-Oh! fun?” The pop culture brand has unveiled 4 new Funko Pop figures to enhance your Yu-Gi-Oh! collection: Alexis Rhodes, Dark Magician, Elemental Hero Neos, and Yubel. Pre-order these collectibles now at Amazon or Entertainment Earth. Exclusive Elemental Hero Sparkman is available for pre-order at GameStop. As the community gears up for a Yu-GI-Oh! nostalgia trip with the forthcoming retro game collection, these Pops provide an ideal means to rekindle your affection for the series. Towards the end of last month, someone obtained a retail box for the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection game. Unfortunately, this leaker couldn’t play the actual game yet, so details about languages and gameplay quality are still confidential. However, if you want to know all the games included in the new collection, you’ve come to the right spot.
Based on posts by Twitter user kukithk1, it’s expected that the complete launch of the “Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection” will feature:
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 2: Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Monster Capsule GB
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Dungeon Dice Monsters
- Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6 Expert 2
- Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition: Stairway to the Destined Duel
- Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Tournament 2004
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Destiny Board Traveler
- Yu-Gi-Oh! 7 Trials to Glory: World Championship Tournament 2005
Instead of continually launching a single handheld game series for fans, as seen in the new collection, there’s a strong likelihood that, following Konami’s history with other re-releases, a subsequent collection might surface, encompassing all essential retro games.
The “Early Days Collection” not only gathers all those vintage, Yu-Gi-Oh handheld games but also introduces new functions such as rewinding and fast-forwarding through narrative parts, much like older games do when they’re re-released. Furthermore, it supports online duels, and keeping with the spirit of Yu-Gi-Oh, comes with promotional cards included in the boxed version for players to acquire.
Despite the fact that the original Yu-Gi-Oh anime ended in 2004, its fandom remains thriving and expansive. Fresh anime series, new collectibles, and even re-releases keep fans enthused about the action-packed world of Yu-Gi-Oh.
