Harley Quinn Season 5 Trailer Reveals Brainiac & Enchantress (& Release Date)

As a long-standing member of the gaming community and a die-hard fan of animated series, I can confidently say that the upcoming fifth season of Harley Quinn is shaping up to be a masterpiece! With its electrifying trailer and the promise of new characters like Lena Luthor, Brainiac, and Enchantress, it’s clear that this season will bring an exhilarating dose of chaos to Metropolis.

In the recently unveiled teaser for Season 5 of Harley Quinn, we get a peek into the mischief that Harley and her band of misfits have in store. Following four seasons of causing chaos and eventually rescuing Gotham, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are venturing to a new environment – Metropolis. This fresh setting introduces a host of potential allies and adversaries for Harley, including Lena Luthor, Brainiac, Enchantress, among others hinted at in the trailer. Fear not though, as characters from Gotham, both friends and foes like Joker, Clayface, King Shark, and Frank the Plant, will still make their presence known.

Beginning on January 16th, 2025, the fifth season of Harley Quinn will start airing every week on Max, continuing until March 20th, 2025. The news about the renewal for this season was shared in November 2023, and fans have been eagerly anticipating it since then. Even as recently as last May, Briana Cuoco, who voices Batgirl in the series, had not received any information regarding a fifth season. However, it seems that either production had already begun or plans were made shortly after this announcement.

What Is to Be Expected in Harley Quinn’s Fifth Season?

In the year 2025, Harley Quinn’s Season 5 is all set to reintroduce mayhem in Gotham for the Max streaming platform. The fast-paced action and vibrant characters will soon leap off the screen as a new danger vows to challenge flawlessness. Here’s a sneak peek at what Max has shared about Harley Quinn Season 5:

In the fifth season of HARLEY QUINN, Harley (Kaley Cuoco) and Ivy (Lake Bell) find themselves in a new setting: Metropolis, home to Superman, Lois Lane, and the Daily Planet. As they explore their surroundings, they uncover a dark secret – things are not as they seem. Facing ominous adversaries such as Lex Luthor and his sister Lena Luthor, voiced by Aisha Tyler, and the much-loved Brainiac, voiced by Stephen Fry, Harley will be joined by her band of outcasts and allies on a hilarious adventure that leaves no stone unturned in its quest for fun within the DC universe.

Back in 2019, I stumbled upon Harley Quinn for the first time on DC Universe’s app, but it eventually found its home on Max (formerly known as HBO Max). This show has a unique charm – it playfully pokes fun at the DC universe while keeping viewers hooked with an engaging narrative about Harley finding her independence. Since it’s not tied to any larger shared universes, the stories can take bold leaps, introducing both fresh and classic characters. To top it all off, it’s a hit among critics too, boasting an impressive 8.4 rating on IMDb!
