As a seasoned observer of the glamorous world of entertainment, I can’t help but be intrigued by the fascinating stories of these iconic figures who have turned down the opportunity to dance their way into the hearts of millions on “Dancing With The Stars.
Ezra Sosa is giving this Dancing With the Stars casting a perfect 10.
Following influencer Trisha Paytas expressing her dream for 2025 to be Ezra’s partner in a future reality competition season, the dancing professional indicated that he is open to this possibility after his early departure with Anna Delvey during season 33.
On December 12th, Ezra expressed his genuine feelings towards Trisha on TikTok, using the caption “[indeed] She’s about to become my partner for Season 34.
Trisha commented on his video saying, “I truly never desired anything more.” (This version maintains the original meaning but uses simpler and more natural language.)
However, the influencer isn’t limiting her plans for the new year to just what she’s already announced. In fact, she elaborates in a recent video that following her surprising appearance on the December 7 episode of Saturday Night Live – an opportunity she never imagined would come true – she intends to make a significant impact in 2025 as well.
She quipped, “I think my manifestation skills are working overtime.”
What other items does she have on her wishlist? The 36-year-old woman is aspiring for a SKIMS campaign; the opportunity to act in either Chicago, Little Shop of Horrors, or Wicked on Broadway; a chance to host SNL; her own talk show called TRISH!; a role in season four of Traitors, and even a golden toilet (though she believes the toilet might be the most achievable).
For our ambitious target by 2025, let’s strive towards achieving something as profound as the “Iconic” artist expressed: “Hit the jackpot to ensure every starving child worldwide receives a hearty spaghetti Bolognese meal.
As stated by Trisha, her spouse, Moses Hacmon, is known for preparing the tastiest and heartiest bolognese sauce. With him, she has two daughters: Malibu Barbie, aged 2, and Elvis, only 7 months old.
She clarified, “I truly want to carry out this task. I wish to arrange transportation with a truck so that I can personally deliver the food to everyone involved, because you understand, this matter is deeply important to me. Seeing a child without enough food saddens and upsets me so much that it makes life seem unbearable in a world where such hunger persists.
And Trisha is already getting support on her dream board.
In modern terms, Ezra exclaimed enthusiastically, “That’s like bucking gravity hardcore!”, and Holly Madison responded, “Things are really taking off!
Despite uncertainty about which of Trisha’s prophecies will materialize in the upcoming year, continue reading for an exploration of celebrities who declined the opportunity to vie for the esteemed Mirror Ball Trophy on “Dancing With the Stars”, a competition that Trisha would never consider refusing.
As an ardent fan, I couldn’t contain my excitement when Nick Carter of the beloved Backstreet Boys finally got the chance to shine again in season 21! For years, I had been hoping for this moment, as I was told on multiple occasions that he would be available. However, fate had other plans, and Nick was busy touring with the Backstreet Boys and releasing albums. Now, with a brief pause between tours, Nick seized the opportunity to grace our screens. It’s moments like these that make being a fan truly worthwhile!
Bindi Irwin, an Australian television personality who is the daughter of the late wildlife expert Steve Irwin, was part of season 21 as well. Interestingly, this wasn’t her first invitation to dance; she had been asked before but declined due to their crocodile research trip. She shared with TopMob News that she exclaimed, “Oh my goodness!” when approached the first time. However, it turned out conveniently for them to join season 21, as they were able to do so during a break in their research work. Therefore, Bindi is excited to be participating in this season.
Following her daughter Rumer Willis’ victory in DWTS season 20, with her mother being a near-constant presence during filming, Moore was on the verge of joining the season 21 lineup, according to TopMob News sources; however, she ultimately declined the invitation.
Previously victorious contender Alfonso Ribeiro shared with TopMob News that the show considered inviting Caitlyn Jenner, a former star of ‘I Am Cait’, to compete for the prize. However, she declined, opting not to emulate Kim Kardashian and Rob Kardashian’s participation in the competition instead.
The Mean Girls star was reportedly approached to do the show back in season 16 but said no.
Previously shying away from dancing on two separate occasions, the contentious celebrity chef was initially reluctant but eventually agreed to join the cast during season 21, according to an exclusive report by TopMob News.
“They did ask me,” she told Extra in 2010, “and I said no.”
Although some of her previous “Saved By the Bell” cast members have participated, Thiessen chose not to take part in “Dancing with the Stars”. She once stated to The Huffington Post that she was asked on several occasions, but her reply was that she is an actor, not a dancer.
Paula Deen isn’t the only well-known chef who has been approached by DWTS. Flay also declined the show, with the Food Network star previously stating to Zagat that he didn’t want to be recognized as the person on Dancing with the Stars. Another factor was his wife’s threat of divorce if he participated. (He and his ex-wife Stephanie March have since divorced.)
While sources told TopMob he said no to DWTS, he said yes to appearing on Celebrity Apprentice.
As a diehard admirer, it’s hard for me to believe that even though she eventually won over hearts on the dance floor, the legendary actress initially turned down Dancing with the Stars. She confessed in a tweet that she was just too scared, calling herself “too chicken” back then.
The host of CBS This Morning and Oprah Winfrey’s close friend declined the invitation not just once or twice, but three times. She explained to US Weekly that she prefers to limit her public embarrassment. “I would never want to mortify my children or myself,” she added, admitting that she can’t dance.
The producers of DWTS reached out to Alfonso, hoping to persuade the NYPD Blue star to participate on the show. Unfortunately, their request fell on deaf ears as Ribeiro shared with TopMob News that his friend declined, stating, “Nah, I don’t dance!
The Academy Award winner has declared that she will not participate in the show anymore, but she did hint at a possible change of heart under certain circumstances. In an interview with TopMob News, she shared her conditions for appearing on “Dancing With the Stars”. She stated, “Here’s how I would consider participating in Dancing With the Stars. If they donated a million dollars to charity…I would only participate if there was a significant charitable aspect involved.
In 2011, Queen Latifah clarified that there was no truth to the speculations about her participating in “Dancing With the Stars”. Nevertheless, she expressed her fondness for the program and mentioned that she would be watching it, just like many others. Interestingly, Queen Latifah has indeed made guest performances on the show.
