Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Gives Rare Update on Her Private Child Leon

As I delve into the lives of these remarkable individuals, I am struck by their resilience and the depth of their love. Each one has found their own path, navigating the complexities of life with grace and determination. From the joyous unions to the heartwarming milestones, it’s clear that these Browns have an uncanny knack for finding happiness in every corner of their lives.

Meri Brown‘s only child is doing well away from the public eye.

Recently, the star of “Sister Wives” provided an update about Leon Brown, their shared child with former husband Kody Brown, as they choose to lead a more secluded existence.

According to Meri, they have chosen to keep a low profile and not reveal too much about themselves. Therefore, she doesn’t discuss them extensively. (This was stated during an interview with People magazine on December 13.)

Although Leon prefers to keep his personal life private, it doesn’t necessarily imply that he doesn’t maintain a relationship with Meri.

“We talk often,” the 53-year-old added. “They’re doing well.”

In June 2022, Leon, aged 29, publicly identified as a transgender individual, and it was said that they got married to their partner, Audrey Kriss, during the same year.

In a recent post on Instagram, Leon shared, “I’ve been told I don’t need to have everything sorted out to present myself to the world. So here I am, with many aspects of my life still uncertain, to tell you that I identify as transgender. My name is Leon and my preferred pronouns are they/them.

Leon, who has been absent from the show Sister Wives since 2020, elaborated on their personal journey towards self-acceptance and comprehension, hinting at their upbringing in a family that was connected to a Mormon fundamentalist group.

They went on to say, “The first moment I realized I wasn’t a girl happened when I was quite young. Unfortunately, my upbringing was heavily influenced by strict gender norms. As a result, I was raised as a girl and eventually a woman. However, it’s time for me to openly express who I truly am. That person is fluid in terms of gender identity, embracing labels like genderqueer, trans, and unashamed.

Leon also noted that they are still” learning” to love themselves through a process of self-growth.

Leon expressed joy about being queer and trans as fundamental aspects of his identity. Here’s to embracing and celebrating this journey of self-discovery, sharing himself authentically, and constantly growing to embody the best version of himself in every setting.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’ve always been one to support individuals on their personal journeys, and that includes my dear friend Meri. Despite legally parting ways with Kody back in 2014, their bond remained intact until their spiritual separation in 2022. In recent years, she has been openly supportive of Leon, who bravely came out two years ago, demonstrating the power of love and acceptance in our lives.

Last year, on Trans Day of Visibility, I penned my heartfelt admiration atop a snapshot of Leon and Audrey: “I’ve spotted you! You’re adored! I’ve acquired you!

Previously featured star on Sister Wives also recently gained endorsement from Janelle Brown, another ex-spouse of Kody, who commented on a photo of Audrey and Leon (posted on September 15) with the words, “I truly love you both.

2024 found me still captivated by the Brown family saga, especially the unfolding tale of Meri. A year after her announced split with Kody, Meri shared on Instagram that she had started a new chapter with Amos Andrews, a turn of events I’d learned about back in October. Yet, just as the snow melted in February, Meri once again turned to Instagram to confirm that this relationship too had reached its end.

Kody Brown once humorously remarked on Sister Wives that when he met Robyn in 2009, she resembled a soccer mom with her van, three children, and divorced status. He initially thought this was not something he needed in his life, but now they’ve been together for over a decade and have two more children, Solomon and Ariella. Adding new partners to their relationship isn’t part of their plans anymore. Robyn finds it challenging to consider bringing in new women because it feels like replacing those who left (Meri, Janelle, and Christine) might be disrespectful to them. This idea is difficult for her to accept.

She obtained both the man and the family, officially confirming her relationship with David Woolley on Valentine’s Day 2023. Christine Brown expressed her feelings saying, “I have finally found the love of my lifetime in David. The first time he held me close, it felt like my soul was taking its first breath. He is wonderful, kind, and amazing with my children, making a delightful grandpa too. I never imagined that I could find such a profound love.

Initially among the 18 Brown siblings to get married, Madison Brown (age 28) tied the knot with Caleb Brush at a 2016 outdoor wedding held in Montana, which was documented by TLC. Almost seven years have passed since their wedding, and they have expanded their family. Josephine recently joined her older siblings Axel (6) and Evie (4), who were born in February. In March, Maddie, based in North Carolina, expressed on Instagram that she had found an unusual tranquility amidst the chaos as a family of five, stating that she didn’t know this level of peace could be attained.

Four years following the broadcast of their engagement on the TLC reality show, Meri Brown’s single child, Leon Brown (aged 28), has established a life with partner Audrey Kriss in Denver. “You, my dearest melody,” Leon expressed affectionately towards his fiancé. “Living together is nothing short of delightful.” Similarly, Audrey shared her sentiments, stating, “It’s been a privilege and source of joy to be your companion and witness your personal development and self-discovery throughout the years.

The eldest child, Logan Brown, who is 29 years old, brought the group back together after marrying his long-term partner, Michelle Petty, in Arizona last October. Janelle posted on Instagram about her son’s wedding, describing it as a beautiful day and expressing that her heart was filled with affection throughout the entire event. She mentioned that one always experiences a sense of tranquility when children find remarkable life partners.

Six years beyond their 2016 wedding, Mykelti Brown playfully commented that she and her husband Antonio “Tony” Padron had tested the boundaries of their marital vows by having twins, Archer and Ace, in November 2022. The 27-year-old humorously mentioned they have three children and four relocations under their belt, sharing moments of joy and challenges as they continue their marriage journey.

In the past five years after their wedding, Aspyn Brown, who is now 28, and her husband Mitch Thompson have ventured to various places such as Paris and Alaska. However, last December marked a change when they decided to settle down, as Mitch posted on Instagram, “We finally purchased our first home! Perfect timing for Christmas.

Before their first anniversary, Christine’s daughter Gwendlyn Brown and her girlfriend Beatriz Queiroz celebrated six months together by visiting Disney World and enjoying a chocolate fondue. The highlight of their trip was when Beatriz proposed in a candlelit, rose-filled setting, which Gwendlyn shared on Instagram in November 2022 with the caption “I’m engaged!!”. The couple got married in July, announcing the news on Instagram with the caption: “Welcome to the Queiroz family (twice)!
