As a longtime fan of Strictly Come Dancing, I must say that this season has been particularly captivating, and Tasha Ghouri’s journey is one for the history books. Her ability to consistently top the leaderboard with partner Aljaž Škorjanec is nothing short of impressive, and it’s clear they share a unique bond both on and off the dance floor.
2024’s Strictly Come Dancing competitor, Tasha Ghouri, found herself speechless during the finale as an acquaintance from her past suddenly appeared.
During her performance of “Sing, Sing, Sing” by Benny Goodman on the show, the TV personality had just earned a flawless rating from the judges, when all of a sudden, her brother made an appearance, having been summoned by co-host Claudia Winkleman.
Instead of Australia, Tasha believed he was backing her up, but it seemed his plan was to avoid missing his sister’s emotional last dance on stage.
“I wouldn’t have missed it for the world,” he said as she struggled to process what was happening.
Tasha and her dancing partner Aljaž Škorjanec consistently stood out during the competition, frequently taking the top spot on the scoreboard.
She expressed that winning this upcoming event is undeniably a significant milestone in her career, and quite possibly the most remarkable achievement of her entire life.
Tasha also took a moment to gush about sharing the experience with Aljaz.
She expressed her excitement, saying, “I can’t wait to complete this entire adventure alongside Aljaz in the finale. Each week has been extraordinary, but the chance to share the final moments with him is truly enchanting and awe-inspiring.
And Aljaz was also full of praise for the former Love Island star.
With Tasha, it seems our bond is only growing stronger day by day. Nowadays, I sense that we can practice together effortlessly, almost as if words aren’t necessary.
Apart from regularly singing together, they additionally showcased their Couple’s Choice dance to “What About Us” by Pink, and a smooth-style dance to “Someone You Loved” by Lewis Capaldi.
With Tasha and Aljaž in the mix, six other pairs are competing fiercely to win the glitter ball trophy: JB Gill with partner Lauren Oakley, Chris McCausland paired with Dianne Buswell, and Sarah Hadland joined by Vito Coppola.
