Having survived countless encounters with xenomorphs in various forms of media, I’ve developed an unhealthy fascination with these terrifying creatures. The fact that this game takes place between the first two films is like a dream come true for me – it’s as if my nightmares are becoming reality!
Upcoming for PlayStation VR2 on December 19th, Alien: Rogue Incursion is the next significant title. For a detailed glimpse into the game, PlayStation Underground has returned with a 25-minute gameplay demonstration.
Originating from the creative minds at Survios, who have given us games like Sprint Vector, Creed: Rise to Glory, among others, this first-person action horror game places you in a scenario where you must endure amidst an infestation of xenomorphs within a colony.
Occurring after the initial two Alien movies, this game offers a solo adventure that includes detailed elements such as manually reloading your weaponry, retrieving items from your body, and more.
In the gloom, the alien-infested passages seem to swallow light, making it hard to spot those slippery invaders lurking in the shadows. But when battle erupts, it’s a whirlwind of speed and chaos, a heart-pounding dance of life and death.
In PSVR2, we anticipate a highly immersive encounter. If the developers are correct about the xenomorphs’ intelligence, they could launch strategic attacks from various angles, making the experience incredibly challenging.
